Owner communicated excellent and very nice and informative. Only thing I feel people should know you miss be comfortable skilled driver to stay at this home . The drive at night is super dark on winding narrow dark mountainous roads . But once there - beautiful view . Home is clean . No tvs in bedrooms but comfy and clean . Left a bottle of good wine, cookies and balloons for our birthday girl! Very nice touch. Coffee kureg had lots of choices. No complaints. Young and old loved the stay. There is a wonderful porch with pocket views of the hills and surrounding neighborhood to enjoy while sitting out on the couch or dining al fresco. Once we we were through the door we were pleased to find that the main room was very generous and full of natural light. Everything was spotless and well appointed. We were visiting for Thanksgiving, so it was going to be a little bit of a juggle to cook in an unfamiliar rental kitchen. Thankfully the kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed and more. There were plenty of extra linens and comfortable beds for the family. The owner was very thoughtful about the set up and went out of her way to make us feel welcome with nice local wine and cold drinks in the refrigerator. We loved walking to downtown Amador City from this sweet location and we look forward to our next stay! ##### Laura D. Peaceful and a wonderful proximity to wineries and great food. The home was clean and had a well stocked kitchen if you are staying in cooking. If it hadn’t been so rainy or cold, the covered porch is a fabulous retreat. This home had sold recently and had new owners. Sondra, was a fantastic communicator and worked with us on the re-booking and every one of our needs/requests.
