This is a lovely 3bdr, 2 bath country style home with a splash of modernity that is located within short distance to downtown historic Sutter Creek. The fully furnished living spaces are open and inviting and is great for entertainment or relaxation. Enjoy the green pasture from the living and dining room or relax by the pool while taking in the fresh country air. The sunsets are spectacular in the evenings. The kitchen was recently renovated and new hardwood floor was installed throughout the house. The decor and furniture reflects our vision of incorporating new and refurbished materials to create a country living feel. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and the third has two twin beds. There are additional air mattresses to accommodate additional guests. Guest will have access to the entire house, including the pool, except for the garage. We welcome all guests to stay at our place, including family with young children, however, the pool is not gated so we asked that parents exercise great caution and watchful of their children around the pool. We want to make our guests' stay safe and welcoming for all. For guests who loves to cook, our kitchen is fully stocked. Make yourself a home and feel free to use the use the spices, oil, cooking utensil, etc. You're also welcomed to use the grill and we only ask that you to clean up the grill after each usage. The house is located in a quiet and serene neighborhood. Public transportation is limited in Sutter Creek. We recommend renting a car so that you can fully explore the beautiful lakes, rivers, hiking trails, and hidden gems at the foot of the Sierra Foothill or take a day trip to the beautiful Lake Tahoe (about 1.5 hours away) or explore the bountiful wineries in Amador or San Jaoquin valleys. If you're staying on the weekend, check out Jackson Rancheria Casino for their famous seafood buffet. Don't forget to check out Gold Dust Pizza in downtown Sutter Creek. The restaurant has excellent pizza and chicken wings. It is an excellent place to have beer, wine, and pizza all year-round. The backyard is a great place to hang out during the summer and fall because it's located right next to the creek. Don't forget to check out the handful of wine tasting room We don't have lot of do's or don't do's. We simply asks our guest to respect our place and treat their home away from home as if it's their own home. Please take great care of the place by not leaving hot cups, plates, etc. on the table without a coaster. We don't ask for security deposit because we trust that our guests will be responsible. Also, please be respectful to our neighbors by not having loud music or conversations after 10 pm. Due to our City Lic. we are not allowed to have guest park in the street, or in front of other homes. Only in the driveway. Only two cars allowed per reservations. Please note: That if more cars other then two is reported the city will revoke our city lic. Please respect the rule. The City of Sutter Creek also imposes a 10% hospitality tax. For our guest's convenience, washer and dryer are available for stays of 4 days or more. (please bring your laundry detergent) NOTE: active recording is taking place outside the home doing all reservations and 24/7\. Cameras are located at: Driveway, Front yard facing the front door walkway, Front Yard facing the yard, facing the Pool, and the Patio/BBQ Area. Also, RING on door that captures voice. Updated decor and furnishings, but needs a facelift. The pool and patio drive us to choose this vacation rental in the Amador wine country. There were a couple small hiccups with check-in. The house cleaner was still cleaning about 90 minutes after the 3:00 checkin time. There were no dish cloths and when communicated, we returned from an outing to find a lone dish towel had been delivered to the doorstep. The back yard was overgrown and the pool cleaner didn’t appear to work. We didn’t expect anything super fancy, but in a home this age that is used as a vacation rental, the cabinets in the majority of the house have yet to be updated. That said, the beds were comfortable and it was a pleasant stay. ##### Jeanne J. First night sent email asking about TV situation and never got a response. Few they are not really ready to host. No coffee, tea or welcoming treats at all. It’s located in wine country - how about a complimentary bottle of wine and suggestions for tours?!? I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and ALWAYS had something like this. It’s a 2 bathroom house and there was one spare roll of TP in each bathroom and partial role on the holder in one bathroom and actually no TP holder in the other bathroom. No back rolls of TO or paper towels. It is a quiet neighborhood and the property is Pottery Barn cute! The only issue was the lack of a propane grill (which was shown in the listing). There was a charcoal grill but we had to purchase charcoal and a lighter, plus it was left full of ashes. Furnishing and decorations not as pictured but satisfactory. Kuerig coffee maker, but no traditional coffee maker ( we brought ground coffee). Had to use French Press (little difficult when making coffee for 4). Would probably stay again with a few improvements. It is truly a great location for Sutter Creek. ##### Patricia P. Myself, my daughter and my granddaughter flew from Florida to visit with them and to attend the baby shower of my future great grandson. This house was just perfect- clean, roomy enough for visiting family, close to area towns and shopping needs. The host was easy to communicate with. The neighbors were friendly. If it had been warmer, we would’ve loved to enjoy the pool and outdoor deck area. It has an open floor plan that opens to a patio and swimming pool and there are three bedrooms that are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and it is in close proximity to both Sutter Creek and Jackson, as well as a great bass for going to the wine country we very much have enjoyed our stay at your house!
