The view of the water from the house was gorgeous and so serene. Being right on the lake made it so easy to enjoy the outdoors all day and night, including kayaking, swimming, fishing, and making smores on the fire pit right next to the water. The house is great, and the property is nicely located on a beautiful lakefront. Our 30 something children and spouses thoroughly enjoyed their stayed. My family had a cottage half way up the lake for 50 years and I have to say this place has the most amazing view of the lake! The house is nice with a high ceiling and ceiling fans, comfortable beds, and plenty of room. We enjoyed paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and making smores on the fire pit right next to the water. Perfect space for our family to stay while attending our dad/grandpa’s funeral at a nearby cemetery. Our host was prompt in attending to needs, and very helpful with dining recommendations. There is a lot of traffic on the road, so it was noisy at times, but quiets down at night. Friendly neighbors and lovely lake views. Very comfortable mattresses. The kitchen had many tools, cooking utensils and pots and pans but there was no basic pantry items just fyi. Easy to solve with a trip to a grocery store. There is only a Keurig coffee maker but pods are provided. My only issue was that we were only given the two trash bags in the trash can. The owner was quick to reply and provided additional bags very quickly. Overall a great place for a family of 4+, great view, comfy beds, good WiFi, and televisions in every room.
