Our family had us for brunch every day. When I was checking out they had fresh fruit, muffins coffee, juice and other items. When we checked in our room was on the second floor. I’m 74 and can’t go up stairs because of my knees. We had ordered 2 queen beds. They had a room on the first floor with 2 double beds. That wouldn’t work for us as my daughter and me were sleeping in one bed my son in the other. They offered us another room for free with a queen bed for one night. After that a reduced rate. They were very accommodating. Staff very friendly. If we go back to visit we would stay there again." I worked remotely from the room most days, and it was an ideal setup—quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The property itself is beautiful, with a stunning view of the neighboring horse farm that feels straight out of a postcard. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-appointed: comfortable beds, easy-to-reach power outlets at both the desk and bedside, and small conveniences that show real attention to detail (shower cap, makeup remover, hair dryer, etc.). The welcome chocolates for humans and treats for dogs were such a sweet touch. The owner is wonderful—warm, attentive, and always available to make sure guests have what they need. My dog absolutely loved it. While she desperately wanted to chase horses and explore the (equally gorgeous) cemetery—no, sweet girl, not allowed—we found an amazing 1/2-mile trail along the Green River that leads straight to Water Street with easy access to campus and Spring Street. It was perfect for morning walks. This will be my go-to place whenever I visit Williamstown.
