Those words could not be truer when describing this beautifully updated, 7 bedrooms, 3 bath beach house located in Ocean Lakes here in Myrtle Beach, SC. This house is fully furnished and features 5 queen sized beds, 2 double bunk beds, and will comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests! 1171 is located within Ocean Lakes Campground, a prime vacation spot! This house is just steps from the beach and a short walk or ride to many restaurants, shopping and entertainment. There are 7 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms inside the home and the layouts are as follows: Bedroom 1: This bedroom features a queen-sized bed, windows for natural light, a dresser for storage, a ceiling fan, a wall mounted TV, and access to the private balcony! Bedroom 2: This bedroom features a queen-sized bed, 2 nightstands, a window for natural light, a dresser for storage, a ceiling fan, a wall mounted TV, and access to the private balcony! Living Room: The living area is located at the very front of the house and features 2 sofas. Guests will have access to a mounted TV, ceiling fan, windows that provide great natural lighting, and access to the private balcony! Our guests will absolutely love the breathtaking views of the ocean! The kitchen sits just off from the living area. Guests will enjoy full-size, stainless-steel appliances and spacious cabinets for storage. The kitchen offers a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, top-mounted microwave, 2-compartment sink, 2 coffee makers, a toaster, and so much more! The bar area features enough chairs to accommodate 8 guests! Right off this space guests will also find a dining room table with an additional 4 chairs! There is a washer and dryer in the house for guests to use as well! Guests will love the convenience of being able to do their laundry in the house! Pack light! We provide our guests with 8 towels, 8 washcloths, 1 hand towel, 1 bathmat, soap shampoo, lotion, and conditioner in each bathroom. Bedding, pillows, linens, and everything you will need to enjoy your stay are included. We will also provide basic "starter toiletries" that include toilet paper, paper towels, dish liquid, soap, and more! This property is not pet friendly! No pets of any kind are allowed! Any evidence of pets will result in fines and or immediate removal from the property! Upon arrival we were greeted by several roaches resting comfortably on the kitchen floor, some dead, some still roaming about. They had friends in the kerig machine, one in the refrigerator, hanging out in the living room, enjoying the bathrooms, in the cupboards, crawling out from behind picture frames. The rugs that were not attached to the floor were so dirty we rolled them up for the duration of the visit. They need to be in a dumpster some where. The main living area floor was so dirty we had to go to Walmart and buy a mop and cleaner. It took my daughter 4 mop buckets full of water to finally start seeing clear water. The refrigerator door was missing all but one shelf to put small items in. The couch we’re worn and recliners were in disrepair. No coffee tables or anywhere to put stuff. Upstairs carpet definitely needs attention. Beds were mediocre at best. The linens were dollar store hospital quality. I’d advise to bring your own. Microwave light doesn’t work.Downstairs tub is so slippery almost fell every time I showered. Broken lamps. Lots of little things like outlets that your plugs fall out of. No comforts at all. This rental is basic and in desperate need of some TLC . My advice to the rental company. Pest control ! Upgrade all beds and linens. Get a new fridge. Shampoo carpets. Do away with rugs completely. Get new couches and add some coffee tables. Deep clean. Add some color. This place has no vibe or warmth. ##### Aurora O. Séjour de 7 nuits en août 2025 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Tara H. 5 août 2025 Points faibles : Propreté We have been coming to ocean lakes and renting beach houses for our family vacations for years. We have never been in a rental this poor. My parents took the 14k out of their retirement for our family vacation so we could all be together for my mom’s birthday and my grandma’s 80th celebration. The house was dirty; dirty dishes in the cabinets, the kids feet were black from the floors within 5 minutes of walking on it. We dropped ice on the floor and when we went to wipe it up the paper towels were black. The bathrooms had black in the tubs; we weren’t even comfortable giving our 2 and 5 year olds baths in the tubs. There were no sheet put on the bunk beds for the kids; we had to go searching for the sheets to make the beds ourselves. Lights were broken, smoke detectors hung from the ceilings not hooked up, the granite countertop was broken and a piece looked like it could slide right out. Carpets were extremely dirty and had holes in it, a couple bath towels had holes in them and there weren’t enough for 14 people. We had to go out and buy our own. The kitchen was lacking enough pots and pans to cook a full meal in.We found new things every single day while we were there that added to the disappointment of the trip as opposed to us being able to enjoy it. I spent my week emailing items to the support team, every single time I would get someone different who said they’d make a note. They offered to come clean DAYS after we had already been there and cleaned ourselves. Feel ##### Tara H.
