Beautiful three bedroom, 2.5 bath home located just steps from the beach. Site 1150 is located five houses back from the ocean. Gorgeous ocean view from the living room and deck! Relax, lay beside the pool, and enjoy your vacation with the entire family. Ocean Lakes offers a lot, including a water park, indoor and outdoor pools, and a lazy river. We have great year-round rates. During the prime season, we rent from Saturday to Saturday only. We endeavor to keep our home updated and in good condition for your enjoyment. New kitchen and living room flooring installed. New living room and dining room furniture. New big-screen television in the living room, new bedroom furniture, and fashionable Polywood furniture for the deck. The first level has a sizeable fully-furnished kitchen with new appliances. This fully equipped kitchen has dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and everything you can think of to prepare a home-cooked meal. The living room seating includes a new large Queen sleeper sofa and 3 more chairs for spacious seating. The dining room contains a table and chairs that seat six people. The bar area seats an additional four people. A half bath is down the hall from the living room and dining room. The master bedroom on the first floor contains a king-size bed and shares a full-size bathroom ( shower, no tub). The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet. The second level is accessed from the living room and contains two bedrooms, one full - bath (with tub/shower), and a full sized washer/dryer just off the hallway. One of the bedrooms upstairs contains one queen bed and a huge walk-in closet. The second bedroom contains two queen beds and a little bedroom off to the side with a twin bed in it: There is also a gas grill available for use in addition to picnic table and an outside shower with hot and cold water. Accommodations: Raised beach house on stilts with three bedrooms and 2 & 1/2 baths. There are beds for nine people and a queen sleeper sofa that can sleep 2: MAXIMUM number of people 11! The security deposit is $500.00, which is refunded after departure, provided the house is left neat and damage free. If our home is left neat and passes damage inspection, the security deposit will be returned in FULL. Please allow up to 14 days for a security deposit to be returned. The maximum number of vehicles allowed is THREE. Of those three vehicles, two can park at the house, and the other can be parked in the overflow parking ( which is no longer free); if you like, it just frees up space at the house to park the golf cart, grill out, or hang out and eat at the picnic table if desired. Just a few steps from the beach! It was beautifully decorated and had everything that you need. I loved every single decoration and item that they had. There is plenty of space and no one was crowded. All of the mattresses were great and comfortable. I love the fact that they put queen beds in the rooms upstairs. Most places put bunkbeds in the rooms with hard mattresses, which I hate because not everyone brings kids on vacation. This is a place for plenty of grown-ups to stay at. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and dishes. Two golf carts were included which we loved especially the 22year olds and the dog! Our dog was also welcomed to come because he is also our baby! The owners were very nice and responded quickly. As we discovered something wrong with one of the golf carts on our first day. They got Ocean Lakes to fix it and we had it back the next day, which we were surprised because we figured that it would be in the shop all week. We had an awesome week, great weather and the campground was great too. We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 20 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. You are literally a 1 minute walk to the beach! This "resort" is very large, so having 2 golf carts was awesome. You ride them everywhere (beach, water park, ice cream shop, little convenience store, coffee shack, arcade).The house itself worked ok for our needs (7 adults and 3 children). We pushed the max capacity with 10 people. I would say it's better suited for 4-6 people because the living area is very small and the kitchen is very small. The front porch/balcony is also small--if someone is sitting in the chairs on the porch you have to squeeze by them to go downstairs.The house is a little outdated, but it was clean--and that was great to walk into! Aside from the older carpet, squeaky doors, some rotting wood on the balcony -it did come very equipped--we had all the kitchen appliances we needed, plenty of cups/plates/utensils, the showers worked well, there were some cleaning supplies already there when we arrived. There were extra blankets and pillows which was nice. The beds weren't very comfortable though.For anyone traveling with children: note that quiet time in the park doesn't start until 11pm. So if you have a rowdy crew anywhere in the vicinity (like we did--directly behind us was a party house with about 15 kids), you will hear EVERYTHING. We had to call security 2 times. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. The furniture was comfortable, the home was decorated beautifully, and having the golf carts to use to get around the property was wonderful. Literally just steps to the beach and an ocean view from the front porch. The owners were wonderful to work with. We hope to be back soon! ##### Alex S. Just 4 houses away from the beach was perfect walk, when the beach was packed. The 2 golf carts were included and were so nice to have to ride around in. You are a ways away from the pool so came in handy to truck everyone there. It was nice to be in the more quiet part of the park. The house was perfect size for our family to be comfortable. The owner was very nice and helpful. If we needed anything the owner was prompt in responding. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Andrea H. The kitchen had everything I needed, the golf cart is a newer model, the beds were very comfortable and the beach is steps away. The whole property is like its own little town. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. The beds were comfy. Ocean Lakes is great as far as amenities and activities. Since it was too cool to be beach bums we used the indoor pool, played mini golf and even painted ceramics. Communication with the owner was great. ##### Stephanie W. The host is quick to text back with any questions or problems that you may have. The house is stocked with everything that you could possibly need plus more. The use of the closet space in the house was the most convenient that we’ve ever seen. We stayed impressed with our entire visit. We definitely recommend this home, as well as this host! The house was perfect for our trip with mothers, daughters and grandchildren. My 3-year-old grandson loved having his own "room" - the bed in the closet! The house was clean and well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the golf cart was an added benefit. Tonya was wonderful to work with and answered all my inquiries promptly.
