One of them smells really bad ( cigarettes even though it was non smoking) when we walked in. The staff was very helpful!! Over to change the room, and She even opened another rooms and have us check make sure we’re happy. She did agree that the room did smell. Thank you for taking the time to care for your guests! The Room is comfortable, clean, and spacious enough. Breakfast is delicious and tasty. Besides providing American breakfast there are also many traditional foods. Hotel beds are wonderfully comfortable but the atmosphere control is poor and service could be more gracious and better informed. The architecture is not functional and the building has high heat load on the face. The AC can't cope in some rooms and in general the communal areas are not well air conditioned and too hot. The manager gave us a room upgrade when it was clear our room couldn't be cooled below 25 degrees centigrade. Breakfast is excellent but filter coffee is poor. Overall Swiss hotels need to spend more on their architecture - nice interior design doesnt address functional limitations of the build.
