Poor desk clerk attitude when we checked in. Sent us to top floor with no elevator to find a room full of pot smoke. We had to move our luggage down stairs to new room. Gave us a pool side room but the pool didnt work. No toilet paper. Kitchen cook was kind. Morning desk clerk fine. Being placed by the pool left slamming doors all night. Bed was horrible. The place was dark and outdated. We choose Best Western when we travel. This was not a place we reccomend.

The bed was horrific. Horrible night sleep. The bed felt like it was 50 yrs old. Hugh indents. Definitely need new mattress!!

The pool and hot tub was flooding due to a drain clog. Water was seeping into the pool side rooms. Breakfast was great. Lots of variety!

The location was great. The room was orderly. The in-room hairdryer was not only broken, it was sticky (gooey) ick. The continental breakfast was an adequate selection, but no fresh fruit.

Stayed for a three nights to get away for the MEA break. The rooms were cramped, smelled of pets and no way to control the temperature in them. They have a pool but it is enough for 10 kids and there was a line to get in the pool. The hotel also had WiFi but we got signal only in the common areas - not in the rooms. No room cleaning daily. They cleaned only when requested and that too the next day. Easily one of the more inconvenient hotels we stayed.

The hotel would have been fine but they were undergoing major construction. There was concrete drilling on the roof right over our heads. It sounded like a jackhammer. It went on from 9AM till 5PM. No chance for rest and relaxation. They should shut down the hotel for this degree of construction or at least warn people when booking so they can look at other options. As it was, there was nothing available nearby that fit my needs when I arrived and discovered this cacophony, so we had to suffer through it. .

It’s a very old property and it’s not clean. The staff at the front desk was less than cheerful or helpful. Right outside the lobby doors people were smoking and the stench wafts in the building. One of the Queen beds was literally sagging where people had slept over the years. Two very noticeable outlines in the mattress. After spending the first night, you could smell the ‘musty’ smell even though we showered! So gross. Wouldn’t recommend this place - we’d spend a bit more and stay elsewhere.

My room was not ready when i arrived. I was told they would contact me when ready. Never did. There were hundreds of dead gnats all around the window and air conditioner. Made them come clean them up. Found more later on bathroom ceiling and shower curtains. Fridge was filthy and found hair in it. Found hair in shower and pee stains and hair on toilet. Carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Feet were black when i walked around for less than an hour.. The best thing about this stay was the breakfast. 10 out of 10!

Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. When we arrived, the room was pretty musty and dingy. When we were there, the smoke detector started beeping very loudly every 30 seconds. I went to the front desk-- The person working the front desk simply said, "uhh, well, our maintenance person won't be here until tomorrow, so not much I can do." She then told me that I was welcome to remove the smoke detector from the wall. It was hard wired in, so there was no way to remove it. After further discussion, she finally offered us a different room. Admittedly, the second room was a lot cleaner than the first, but still had a musty smell. But, there was a mysterious wet spot in the carpet of the second room. It did not appear to be leaking from the ceiling. We simply left that side of the room alone. Also, it is in a pretty depressing part of town.

They didn’t find our reservation. Expedia wasn’t as helpful to begin with as they could have been. The property found a room only after Expedia called them. The hotel didn’t help us.
