Nice unexpected stay

Very conveniently located near a quiet stretch of the beach and a 10to 15 mins walk to the main beach area and Peregian town. The town is small but has enough to keep you busy for a few days. Was our best beach time in our extended stay in Australia. Resort is new so some teething but would definitelycome back. Owner is friendly and helpful and thank you for leaving me the body board to make the swim more fun.

It was a perfect getaway with extremely friendly staff, clean accommodation, minutes to the beach, excellent restaurants just a short stroll. Pool just infront of the living room, loved it:). Easy parking. We will have to go back:))

The property was a townhouse within a residential block. The facilities were okay. The location was quite favourable, being within walking distance to the beach and the town centre. Additionally, the staff was friendly.

To be honest I chose this place as it seemed like it was next to the beach. It is not. Rather it backs onto an arterial road. First Fiasco was the key didn't work after I just drove 3.5hrs to get there at 9.30pm... It finally did... Next day I advised problem and it was WD40d... Water pressure is crap ... I was doing a retreat course 9am-7pm the whole time and my wish for a proper shower after was a multiple no show....I advised staff upon check out and they said they could have done something about that... Hmmm... The final nail in the coffin came upon my drive home when I stopped to check calls and messages I noticed a message that was asking me if I knew where the downstairs smoke alarm was as it's not there or in the unit .. I called back and advised I had no idea where the smoke alarm was even located in the unit no less than tampering with a safety device... Whilst I understand that this was an issue of concern for the property it did leave an ugly taste in my mouth of accusation and suspicion... All in all the facilities were ok. Clean and functional.The staff were lovely. However to be honest it's more of a motel that has been dolled up to attract a higher premium which by the way is not worth it in my opinion. 22 townhouse units crammed into an approx 1500sqm block is a bit much. I had the block out curtains closed for the duration. Definitely not suited to my needs... Oh and my designated carspace was also a thoroughfare to the pool and with kids running around
