The house layout was exactly what we required for a comfortable stay with my family with the amazing setting of the river the house offers. The host Hue was extremely abliging and lovely to interact with and gave us a tour via phone of the home prior to visiting and her communication was exceptional with answering her phone first time every time. The house was spotless and had all kitchen and bathroom supplies ready to go, all appliances were modern and in perfect working order. Comfortable beds and lovely linen, nothing was amiss. As for location, well, it doesn't get any better than this ANYWHERE, my family loved it. We chartered a sail boat for 20 persons that picked us up right across from the house to go whale watching and it didn't disappoint. The house exudes an intangible air of restorative energy that meant we were "at home" as soon as we arrived. We cooked dinner twice and found many condiments already in the larder. It's a classic brick house and very comfortable inside. Plenty of spots to sit, chat and share a meal. Great details - quality sheets and towels, cooking gear, fabulous board games and books. Best of all is the location. Buddina has a relaxed atmosphere and with this house, it's all immediately outside the front door. The river is a couple of steps away with paths for walking, playgrounds, BBQs with a view, cafes and shops. Best of all is the "beach" in the river, ocean view from the point and tracks through the reserve. We took our dog on the trip and he went most places with us.
