Apartment 31 was well situated to everything however there were a couple of things I would like to mention. Many of the power points seemed not to work e.g., those that the bedside lamps were connected to in both bedrooms. there was a power pack which was tested in another power point and seemed to work. Would suggest that all the apartment are checked. The few complimentary amenities were appreciated but the provision of items such as alfoil and glad wrap would be useful especially for guests travelling from interstate. To have to shop for such items and then either leave or take home does increase costs. Certainly we have been in other places where these have been provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

I hate to be picky but when we first entered the property the doors leading out to the pool were closed but unlocked and the cutlery, cups, pillows were dirty with stains on them. Also when I opted to pay at the property which I thought was when I ‘check in’ the payment had already been taken out of my account that morning and not onsite as I thought that was to happen. Also the online check in page they sent did not work either I didn’t get a code via email or sms and I called to give them my 24hour notice as the app requested no one answered the phone and no call back. It wasn’t till I emailed them that day they replied the day of check in. The reception staff were friendly.

We had 2 small children, the table & chairs were to high for them to get up & down from. Air con not in bedrooms so was very hot in them all night.

Had an enjoyable stay at Kalua. After hours check in and out was easy. Two entrances to the beach just across the road and walking distance to either Alex or Maroochy lifeguard supervised beach sections. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed, with a nice little view of the ocean. Was a quiet area. Would happily stay here again, affordable rates for a comfortable apartment right near the beach. Thankyou!!
