Ideal for families, it offers a main residence and a separate, self-contained kids retreat. With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeping up to 10, it's perfect for all. Enjoy the shaded entertainment deck while kids and pets play in the grassy backyard. This inviting, pet-friendly oasis guarantees beach days, barbecue evenings, and cherished memories. The Space: As soon as you step into this light and bright family home, you will be greeted by the gorgeous open-plan entry and living room. Complete with a cosy couch and a smart TV, this living room is perfect for lounging around in after a long day spent in the sun and surf at Moffat Beach. The space is well-appointed with all the comforts of home including books and board games. Branching off from this living room are two of the three bedrooms, a bathroom, a toilet, and a laundry. The entire main home features ducted air-conditioning, making it cool and comfortable all year round. Bedroom one (master bedroom): Complete with a king bed, this bedroom features plenty of wardrobe space and beautiful windows to let in the local sea breezes. Bedroom two: Featuring a queen bed, this bedroom is tastefully decorated with an occasional chair and a wardrobe storage rack. The open-plan kitchen and dining space seamlessly flows onto the outdoor deck and alfresco area. The kitchen is fully equipped and features quality appliances and utensils as well as a serving window. The indoor and outdoor dining tables feature plenty of seating space for everyone to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The expansive deck beckons you to bask in the beauty of the outdoors. Host a family barbecue or enjoy your morning coffee on the alfresco lounge as the sunlight filters through leafy green trees that shade the beautiful backyard. Separate and self-contained, the kids retreat studio features two sets of bunk beds as well as two trundle beds, sleeping six people in total. This studio is fitted out with a kitchenette complete with a microwave, mini-fridge, and sink. Kids will adore the provided arts and craft supplies as well as games, books, and activities. This room also features a TV, a dining table, and a daybed. The bathroom in this studio is split into a shower and vanity and a separate toilet. This separate dwelling is a delightful retreat for kids that promises air-conditioned comfort, entertainment and their own space. The coastal location of the home provides endless opportunities for beach swims, sandcastle building and sunset strolls. The outdoor shower located down the side of the home provides the perfect place to easily rinse off after any of these activities. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage. There is free street parking available for any cars you may have. The Neighborhood: This leafy, sunlit beach house is located just 150 metres from Moffat Beach. Moffat Beach in Caloundra has a distinct vibe that differentiates it from its more famous neighbours like Kings Beach & Dicky Beach. While Moffat isn’t a patrolled beach & you’ll need to be wary of the waves, the inlet of Tooway Creek offers family-friendly swimming. Dicky beach is an easy stroll across the sand for patrolled swimming between the flags. All throughout the area you will find upbeat shops and cafes, plenty within walking distance of the house. Getting Around: The closest beach (Moffat Beach) is 150m away (3-minute walk) and is great for a beach-walk, surfing, kite surfing or paddle boarding. The home is central to lots of activities and attractions: Maroochydore airport is a 25-minute drive \- Brisbane airport is a 60-minute drive \- Australia Zoo is a 25-minute drive \- Kawana Shopping World & Cinema is a 15-minute drive \- Large new Sunshine Coast University hospital is a 10-minute drive \- Mooloolaba/ Underwater World (Sea Life) is a 15-minute drive \- Downtown Caloundra is a 5-minute drive A 30-minute car trip will take you to Maleny, Montville, Kondalilla Waterfalls, or Noosa National Park, the Sunshine Coast has plenty to explore! Airport shuttles can get you there from both Brisbane and Maroochydore. It is possible to get around on the local buses and use coach tours but the immediate area is best explored on foot and it would be preferable to have a car to travel further afield. Kids LOVED the separate 'kids house'. Positives were close to the beach (2 minute walk to Moffatt and walkable with kids to patrolled dicky beach), all Linnen including beach towels provided, well equipped kitchen, family board games provided. Negatives were no parking provided and on street parking was difficult to secure, located on busy road with main bedroom at front of house so it was noisy early in the morning and only 1 house key provided which was difficult to manage with 2 separate 'houses' (main house and separate kids house - which was only lovable with a key) or if people wanted to go out at different times. ##### Cathy A. The entertaining deck was very private & nicely sheltered from the wind & rain. The ducted aircon worked well on hot days. We were worried about parking on the street but no need, we got a park directly outside every night of our stay. The fencing was secure for our dog 1.8mtr on 3 sides with a 1.2mtr along the street, the gate had a latch that we were able to padlock (byo padlock), he really loved the yard especially the lush lawn. The position of the house was an easy walk to the beach and the Moffat Beach cafes/restaurants which we enjoyed. All in all, we could not fault this place, it was perfect. ##### Heather G.
