Always go vrbo, second time to this destination. Upon arrival, discovered the ac was not working. Reached out for assistance. Response was prompt, but required us to attempt light maintenance. Got through that only to discover one of the dirtiest homes we have ever encountered. All bed sheets and covers were not clean. There wasn't one place to sit without feeling the need to cover as not to feel grossed out. Mold on the exterior decks made wet surfaces hazardous. Yes, it is waterfront property. But if it being rented out, there is a level of responsibility on the owner/property managers part. It is hard to have a boat and a trailer park in front of the house. Driveway going to the house is very steep, we had to backout to the roadway with our boat trailer to get out. Fairly clean, but the doors and windows did not all latch properly, and the entire property could have used pest control. Spiderwebs completely covered some of the doors, (literally) hundreds of spiders in and out of the house, ants in the kitchen, and even multiple scorpions were found inside. Overall it was a nice place just needed some tlc, maintenance, and pest control. We all agreed we would stay there again if they took care of those few minor things. . ##### Chris B. But we certainly will not be returning to this house, the house floors are dirty and there are so many bugs, you legit cannot open the doors at night without 1000 gnats getting in the house and in the beds and rooms. We just felt dirty all trip, but everything else was fantastic, with some pest control and floor cleaning, this house would be amazing. ##### Chase T. Overall the property is fine for the price point, but beware that we were overrun with bugs, especially at night. Also, had some issue getting access when we checked in and I reached out both through the app and directly to the number provided and never heard back. ##### Randy B. Comfortable beds, huge dock with paddle boards, tubes, and lilly pads.
