It was a very peaceful area with no traffic. We enjoyed watching the deer that came to visit & especially loved the sunroom; having coffee there in the morning was so nice! In my opinion, the home was more spacious and even nicer than it appeared in the pictures. Communication with the owner was easy, and we had more than enough kitchen supplies, towels, etc. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and we thought the decor was cute! Stayed here the week after Christmas. Enjoyed the fireplace and quiet location. Saw deer daily, many species of birds and a fox. Took my dog on walks and exploded a historic cemetery down the street. The house is much larger than it looks in the photos, the beds pillows and linens were very comfortable. Trish was very welcoming getting us settled in and took us to the dock to go over everything. Good location, close enough to town to get what you need but far enough away for some seclusion. Lake cove was quiet and clean with minimal boat traffic. House was spacious and clean and great for 2 couples, as we each had our own bathrooms. The bathrooms could use some updating, but everything worked and the kitchen had everything we needed. The sunroom was great. The dock is a bit inconvenient to get to, but being able to drive down to it was helpful (paved pathway). New steps on the dock make swimming/floating a breeze.
