"Loved this location. Great communication from staff. Fire pit had everything we needed for a bon fire. There is a lovely creek nearby as well as a picnic table up in the trees. We will stay again!"

"What a cute cottage. It is located in a great location not far from Black Hills State University. Check in was very easy. Parking was off street. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. I didn't realize when I booked it that there is a hot tub for guests. I would stay here again."

"We were at the Lodge 10 years ago and were so impressed with the Lodge, the area, lodging and the staff. Happy to say nothing has changed! The most beautiful place to stay. Nature all around and the Fall colors were at their peak. The creek right by the Lodge with picnic table, chairs and hammocks was a perfect place to unwind after exploring the canyon. The staff is excellent. Hope to be back!"

"I’ve stayed here before. This property is the nicest hotel in Newcastle, but it’s starting to show its age. We got a room with just a shower, which wasn’t a big deal for me. Kids like the tub. Quiet area, plenty of parking. Pool area needs attention. Hot tub was out of service for repairs. The pool seemed to be a bit cold for dad. The steps on the ladder in the deep end need to be fixed, as the top step spins upside down."
