I thought this was going to be at least okay. We checked in, and the person was nice. We went up to our room, to find it already open and a sign that said “do not do tub in this room”. I guess they were doing renovations? Anyways, went back down to ask if it was the correct room - she said it was and not to worry about the sign. The room was ok, but I could hear everything outside - the window was definitely closed but clearly very thin. The bathtub was disgusting, and definitely needs a renovation. I laid down a towel on the bathtub because I did not want to step into it. Once I turned the shower head on, it rattled so hard I thought it might actually come off the wall. The towels had holes in them, and stains. The bed was ok. Very thin linen. I woke up to use the bathroom, and saw two cockroaches in the bathtub. I was very disgusted and disappointed. Also, there seemed to be some workers in the hallways who looked very dirty and were just eating in the hallway and stairwells. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Website promised breakfast and we only got old apples, sour OJ, granola bars. Walls have no insulation-we heard every car outside and neighbors inside. Super thin blankets squeeky beds =no sleep for 3 nights. Only 28 channels on tv, most was junk. Halls were dirty despite vacuuming. Red smear was on a stair wall the entire weekend (blood?). But staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved them.

Firstly I would like to say that the front desk person was great and I have nothing bad to say about her or the checkin process. The room however was filthy and full of dog hair everywhere. We didn’t get past the door. We were given another room and it was “better”. We were tired after a 12hr drive from Florida and just wanted a place to crash. If that wasn’t the case we would’ve just left. The new rooms bathroom was gross, with peeling plaster, stains running down the wall, a dirty toilet seat and filthy floor. The bed itself was comfy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Sorry.

These days it is hard to find employees who will do the job properly. However, i found that my room was incredibly clean! The only downside for the Super 8 in Summerville is the property layout. There is really no place to pull your car up annd unload your bags. Other than that, I'll say that I have stayed there before and will continue to do so. Kudos to the entire staff!

The room we were given, I felt was misrepresented. It was listed as a queen bed but was not. The room was very close to the lobby where all coming and going could be heard all night. The information listed a breakfast but an apple, granola bar and yogurt is not a breakfast. This was unfortunate as other hotels in same chain put on a lovely breakfast.

To start, the property description was a lie. they show this elegant building with tables for breakfast as if there going to make breakfast. They served granola bars and lies. I even inquired asking was it the same place and she preceded to say there were tables "2" very small located also in the lobby area. The hotel had no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage and/or are handicapped do not book. We were put on the 3rd floor so that was fun. The odd part was a lot of reviews has this place as excellent. Im confused as to how? idk maybe they got breakfast.

We could not use the room. There was a large storm comming and we decided to not use the room and we informed the front desk that they could sell the room to another person if they were stranded by storm. We just wanted to stay ahead of the storm and that worked out very well.

Strange entrance. Lots of workmen and their trucks. Breakfast was 3 bowls… apples, granola bars and yogurt. NOT what the pictures show. Strange people wandering about. Do not stay here.

I can not share a review. I called Expedia right after I got up to our room. The room is unclean, sheets with hair on them and stains,, comforters with stains, washrooms are not clean and need many updates. Dressers where the drawers didn’t stay closed. No doors on closet, the main door to the room just was not right, the safe lock was a bit iffy. Was to have a pull out couch for a person to sleep, it did not, nor did it have the bedding for it. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on that couch. I have called for a refund, we left there and went to another hotel. This hotel needs updates and reno , I would not advertise for them. I do want to say. The front desk lady was so nice.
