Pet Friendly! You will love staying at this quaint cabin where you have plenty of peace and privacy. There is a back porch with outside dining and plenty of seating as well as a swing. You will love relaxing with your morning coffee out here while enjoying Mother Nature. The living area is open to the kitchen and dining area with a love seat and a full couch that converts to a queen size bed and an electric fireplace console that hosts a 55" smart TV. The dining table has a leaf that extends to accommodate up to 8 people. The main bedroom is located upstairs and has a king size bed, full bathroom, and walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a bunk bed twin over full. All bedrooms have smart TVs and new Casper mattresses with high quality bedding and pillows. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Smaller appliances include a Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster, and blender. There is high speed internet. There are two sets of corn hole boards, one for adults and one for kids. There are quite a few board games to choose from inside the cabinet that the guest book sits atop. We do suggest picking up groceries on the way in. There are plenty of things to do not too far from the cabin. The Watauga River public access for fishing or exploring is only minutes away. Boone is about a 20 minute drive and has plenty of restaurants and cute shops. Things to do are endless. Appalachian Ski Mountain is about a 35 minute drive. We are pet friendly. Up to 2 dogs 50 pounds and under. Please mention this in the booking. There is a $50 pet fee. Cell service is limited, please make your important phone calls prior to losing service. We had to clean bathrooms and wash towels and bed linens when we got there so we would have something to sleep on that night. I contacted the host and in about an hour later someone was there to clean but we had done everything. All she had to do was basically and make up the beds. First I’ll address the driveway.It’s steep, just as described in the description as well as comments. Our 4WD vehicle went up just fine but our other vehicle did not. It stayed safely parked at the bottom of the driveway. Some could consider that an inconvenience however definitely not a ruined vacation, especially considering all this beautiful property has to offer. This cabin is fully stocked! Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, seating, toiletries, kitchen appliances/dishes, grill with propane!, indoor/outdoor games.. this place has everything you need for your family of all ages! There’s plenty of space, the mattresses are COMFY! The cabin is CLEAN. Especially for being a pet-friendly accommodation, you would never know! It’s also perfectly located. Such a beautiful drive to Banner Elk, Boone, Beech Mountain, and Grandfather Mountain where we frequented.We were also impressed by how well the host responded to us throughout the whole booking to checkout process. My daughter appreciated all the toys in the kids room and we all enjoyed relaxing on the porch. The driveway was a bit daunting but we got up and down it with no issues in our SUV- my daughter thought it was a very fun “ride” ##### Marie L. It was like home away from home. Very clean and cozy. Weather was nice besides the rain showers we had. The driveway got us a couple of times but we made it up. The hair dyer was missing but I bought one and left it for other guest. The grill wasn’t clean but we used grilled sheets. Would definitely stay there again.
