This cabin does NOT have access to the resort amenities, but does have its own private petting zoo, hot tub, fireplace, grill and fire pit! MAGIC CABIN HIGHLIGHTS: Expect an immersive, private, family-friendly, mountain experience & your own petting zoo! Goats, a Pig, Donkeys, Ducks and a Rooster (bring veggies if you want) ... Check! Authentic log cabin, beaming with country charm & only 15 mins to Boone! Hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, fire pit ... Check! Outdoor seating/lounging, sun room, covered AND uncovered decks ... Check! Level land for playing, seasonal waterfall & land art ... Check! WiFi, satellite tv, hammocks, gas grill, basic coffee maker ... Check! Next Family Vacation Cabin Found ... Check! Skiing and Blowing Rock within 25 minutes! $75 pet fee (typically 1 dog under 50 pounds), more than one dog or a larger dog, please inquire. Our farm animals prefer to be the largest animals on property! The entire property is yours. Three levels with the upstairs being a private loft King bedroom. Cozy enough for a couple (half of our guests), but enough space for up to 6 guests. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, enjoy the built-in fire pit and hot tub, enjoy our seasonal waterfall and slowed down the farm life! Enjoy your private yard, the acreage housing our animals (donkeys, goats, pig & some ducks/rooster). The animals live off the land, so you are not responsible for caring for the animals, however, should you choose to feed them, we ask only that they eat fruits and vegetables and they will take all the love you want to throw at them. Go right inside their gate! They are simply the sweetest farm animals, but they are animals. If you have a carrot, they will gladly bump over your toddler to get to that carrot! Act responsibly! Magic is located in the sweet, quiet, farming town of Sugar Grove (think Valle Crucis but even more laid back), a safe space and with year-round easy access (although we have to recommend 4x4 in the winter months!) Please set aside time to just lounge at Magic, this is where your family’s mountain memories will be made! The animals were loving and entertaining. Loved the carrots that I brought them and Sir Henry made sure I was awake with his song in the morning. I was able to spend my time reading in the sunroom or on the hammock and watching March Madness while lounging in the hot tub. The only downside was the occasional noise of a distant neighbor shooting their gun, but this only occurred a few times in the day. I took my Fiancé here on a surprise 3 night vacation and it was absolutely amazing. Everything about the cabin was perfect and so charming and rustic. The petting zoo was such a beautiful addition and was a highlight of the stay! The hot tub was great for the cold November mornings and evenings. The property is amazing! Having a flat yard so the children can play was amazing, and we took full advantage of the hammocks and fire pit. We ate all our meals on the covered back porch and enjoyed the beautiful view. The highlight, of course, was The animals! We can’t wait for a return visit. ##### Shannon S. I stayed here 2 years ago with my husband and wanted my sister to experience it . We had fun and lots of laughs feeding the cute animals . Heather the pig always brings smiles to my face . Even our old dog loved hanging out with the farm animals. The cabin is clean , specious and close to all the attractions and restaurants.
