      Anniversary Weekend

This cabin was just right for the two of us and we enjoyed our stay very much. Connie is very responsive and easy to deal with. Check-in and -out were streamlined. We really loved being so close to the goats, chickens, and bunnies. The sound of the rushing stream on the property was very relaxing. Our weather was great, so we were able to open the windows and take in all the sounds of the farm. We will be back! One word of advice: there are not very many receptacles, so I would suggest to anyone who is going to use a hairdryer or styling devices to bring an extension cord and/or a stand mirror to make their use easy. We also brought a power strip to charge our phones and watches. There were a few movies in the armoire, and there is a DVD player, if you would like to bring your own movies to watch. I highly recommend this cabin and property!

          Me and my animals!

With my love of animals, staying in one of VrBO's "petting zoo" cabins is perfect. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and we loved it. The little brown goat really wanted to come home with us (and I was in agreement,) but my husband said we couldn't have a goat where we live! The only thing I would suggest is that you "gently" let people know that everything is in one room (that includes the tub and toilet!) Granted they can be curtained off and with our years together it wasn't a real problem, but new couples might find it a bit embarrassing. Our favorite is still Mountain Magic (where we will be in May), but I may have to go down to Honeymoon Cabin and see MY goat!

              Scenic Property

Very nice rental. Quiet and very peaceful. The Turkey gobbling in the morning was an added bonus. Only two minor negatives. An undercounter light would have been much appreciated above kitchen sink. Also a fire ring was listed but never saw it. Overall wonderful stay.
