« During sweltering days in DC, we enjoyed serenity in the shade of Little Oatlands. Mornings enjoying coffee on the porch were one of our favorite moments as well as an afternoon swim. It was our second visit to this historic property and the magnificence of the surrounding land is truly unparalleled in this day and time. Prepare to wander. »

« Our stay here was perfect. The house is so charming and the location is great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My dogs loved the fenced in backyard. Check in was easy and communication with the host was very pleasant. I cannot recommend this house enough. »

« It's a nice place for a big group to crash for a few days. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, and pots/pans -- everything we needed. Adequate number of bathrooms for everyone. Short drives to many nice places and to the metro station. Check-out is very simple and appreciated. Owner was always available and proactive on making sure our stay was comfortable. A few no-big-deal oddities: Decaf was the only Keurig coffee option. Garbage disposal failed. No shampoo (but...

« There were no surprises. The place was exactly as described. Easy to find and the host was very kind. »

« Visiting DC with another family. 4 Adults and 5 Kids in all. Slept us comfortably. About 25 min commute to West Falls Church Metro station where we were able to ride into the city to take in all the attractions. House is dated as another reviewer noted but honestky, who cares. Beds were clean, Kitchen and Dining room were perfect for our size group. »
