However the owners were incredibly helpful in assisting us to arrange a takeaway dinner and even bought our refreshments for us from Tesco as they were going that way. The old converted Millhouse is very interesting with all its memorabilia and nooks and crannies with a lovely garden we could sit in. It was clean and comfortable with a tasty continental breakfast but is next to a busy A road so there is a certain amount of traffic noise unless you book to stay in the family room which was very quiet as insulated by the thick old walls.
