"The main mansion is being renovated and doesn’t look that great. The carpet in the room was so stained, it was yucky and no screen on the slider so we couldn’t leave it open and it was quite hot/stuffy inside the room and no a/c, but I did find two fans in the closet. Staff were very responsive via text and code got us into the room easily. Restaurant walking distance was great!!!"

" We hadn’t stayed in a B&B in years—and never one quite as exceptional as this. Charles and Jill made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Each morning, breakfast felt like a gourmet event, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.
The grounds were stunning; we loved relaxing on the deck, watching hummingbirds flit through the trees in the peaceful, wooded setting. Just a short walk away, we discovered a secluded hot tub—perfect for unwinding.
The rooms were comfortable, and the common areas were cozy and inviting. When we return to the area, there’s no question—we’ll definitely be staying here again."
The Orchard at Lovers Lane and Enchanted Forest. Hot Tub, Pets Welcome
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Kristen's Lovers Lane Enchanted Forest Home was overall enjoyable for the short time that we were able to actually able to stay at it! We attended a family destination wedding for the weekend, so our time at the home was very limited except for having breakfast and sleeping there. Check-in was easy, and we had arranged to check in early since we had taken the 12:25 pm ferry from Annacortes. The only thing that we would "ding the house on" and give a little less than excellent score of 4.5 stars would be the lack of mentioning that the house is in the flight path of the take off's of the small plane airport a couple block away! It was just a little scary sometimes to hear the roar/sputter/s of some of the aircraft above the house when you are inside it! Other than the noise from the planes, our Grandsons loved running around in the garden and picking the apples off the trees! And they especially Loved the "Secret Hideaway" just for kids! We had a fantastic 5 days staying at The Orchard at Lovers Lane and Enchanted Forest! Thank You, Kristen!"
"I would highly recommend this property to others. The owner was responsive and accommodating. The property is easy to find and has a great view with all the comforts of home. "
"We really enjoyed our stay! The view from the porch is AMAZING. The rooms were great, everything was clean. It was very quiet too which was relaxing. Deer came to the garden all the days we were there and it wasn’t far from things. The only bummer was the TV was very small and only one bedroom had another TV. But overall, we would stay here again!"
Stunning views, 6-Bedroom Farmhouse with beach access and mooring
10/10 Excellent
"It’s an old farmhouse on a large fenced in property within a short walk to the Puget Sound beach with direct view of Mt Baker. The outdoor spaces were perfect for our grandkids to play safely and the indoor gathering areas were accommodating to our family of 12( large long dining table with benches and large sectional couch in living room. The six bedrooms worked well. Bathroom doors could use locks:) kitchen was simple but functional and had everything we needed. Nice to have laundry facilities onsite.Overall a really relaxing place to gather as a family and play."
"We loved this house. We were impressed by how clean it was when we arrived, and how smartly everything was set up. We have stayed in many houses on Orcas, and this one had the best Wi-Fi by far. "
