Une belle location

Nous avons trouvé un chalet confortable, grand, propre, bien adapté à la vie de plusieurs personnes...et beau. Le terrain est agréable avec sa petite rivière. L'emplacement est dans les bois, au calme, et avec des voisins sympathiques! Organisation de Richard impeccable. Une très bonne idée de location.

Nice cabin with exceptions

The nice parts:2 bedrooms on the main floor with a very nice bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The decor was very nice.Beds were comfortable.The porches were awesome.There was a pond on the property stocked with rainbow trout. They were beautiful.The exceptions:Pictures on website are misleading. The photos give you the perception that you’re on somewhat level ground for the most part. Not even close. If you’re not careful pulling onto the property, you can have serious issues getting out. Steep incline and poor gravel surface can create a traction issue. If you’re not driving a four wheel drive, you could get stuck. We parked along the side (less sloped area) of the driveway. We did not have any issues. We backed into that spot daily, to avoid the slope of the main entrance. Mobility scooter was useless on the property.While showering the first night, 2 minutes into the shower, we lost hot water. We could get it back briefly, only to loose it again and again, which became a nuisance. Texted owner, who sent plumber out next afternoon. Which did not resolve the problem. The issue was continuous our entire stay. Communications continued with owner, with no resolution.

On the trail

Our family stayed here four nights to just hang out in the cabin, hike the AT, and also visited many of the area towns. This cabin is a perfect location to disconnect for a few days or venture out if you wish. The pictures and descriptions are 100% accurate.

Cabin steps to the Appalachian trail

Check in was simple. Everything you need is at the cabin. We cooked every meal and made a fire in the fire pit. The best part is that the cabin is steps to the Appalachian trail. Amazing hiking any direction ypu decide to go. Becareful of finding the trail back to the cabim if you go to woody gap. Its unmarked

Chasing water falls

Our stay at Kay’s Cabin was wonderful. It was close to everything. We hiked to many waterfalls. The cabin was perfect. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. I hope we get to come back. I definitely recommend Kay’s Kabin if you want a great time.

mountain get away

This is a very nice cabin style retreat with all the modern amenities. The beds are comfortable and the location is excellent for visiting hiking trails, waterfalls, state parks and Dahlonega. This was our second stay at Kay's cabin and this time we brought some friends. We will come back again.
