Not as advertised. I stayed here just under three weeks and prior to making my reservation I intentionally contacted the hotel management to request a room with a bath tub (apparently there are two rooms equipped with tubs). I was assured in writing that I would have one of these rooms for my 3 week stay. ONE DAY prior to my arrival I received an email saying sorry but they would not be able to accommodate my request after all. Too late to cancel my reservation and make other arrangements of course. Once I checked into the hotel I was handed a sheet of "Covid rules" for the guests to follow. Fair enough. However, it did not take me long to see that these "rules" were selectively enforced. It's important to note that right across the street from the hotel is the Mercedes Benz training center. Therefore most of the guests at the hotel are Mercedes employees and it is basically their hotel. So while Covid rules etc apply to regular guests, if you work for Mercedes you have run of the place and can do what you want; no social distancing, no single elevator limits, no masks, bar/restaurant open for you etc. I witnessed this daily during my stay and I have no doubt that my room with the bathtub that I had been promised went to one of these Mercedes Benz guests. Another point they do not tell you and neither does Expedia is that due to Covid the hotel staff departs at 5pm Mon-Fri and then all weekend. You as a guest are on your own in the evening and until Mon morning!
