She even included breakfast which I didnt read the description very thorough so if it said, I didnt noticed. Nice surprise! Had AC unit and small heater which was nice because Sept. Was hot in the afternoon and chilly in the A.M. I didn't care too much for the bathroom being in the same room and just a curtain dividing it but again, I didn't read description, I was just excited about it being a train car. The time in Sturgis was much better than expected (totally not the stereotype). Part of what made it so was staying in the caboose (and please, eat at the Loud American - amazing!). The place was great. Hard to believe an old caboose was turned into something so nice, quiet, and stylish. Anyone staying here should feel safe, secure, and welcomed. You’ll have a great time. I almost don’t want to post such a great review because this is such a great secret of a gem but the owners are such amazing people and the property is absolutely perfect. We had an absolutely PERFECT weekend and it all started when we pulled into the property. Tami was amazing and she made us the most lovely breakfasts every morning. The caboose was absolutely adorable and the other sleeping areas were all decorated in different themes. We can't want to come back and bring our kids. She cooked us a nice breakfast, and she and her mother joined us and gave us all sorts of interesting information about the place and the area. If you are staying in the caboose and it's a hot hot day, you're well advised to call early and ask Tami to start the air conditioning. The views, wine tasting and morning breakfast waiting was over the top. Speaking of getting to the top, please walk the hill to the bench and soak in the beauty.
