Great location, amazing accommodations, clean, well furnished, comfortable and the hosts were so easy to communicate with. They are also dog friendly, so that was a great plus for us, as we have 2 large dogs which can often be a challenge when trying to find places to stay. Home is beautiful inside and situated in the gorgeous Black Hills. It is right next to Hwy 14A, so is a bit noisy with traffic/motorcycles. Home is clean, had everything we needed. This was our 1st time using Vrbo. Communication was almost non-existent. We were arriving late, so I texted right after I reserved to find out if the home would be well lit and easy to find. No response. (And the home was not easy to find after dark. I recv’d a text one day early welcoming us… which made me concerned whether I’d reserved for the correct nights. After rechecking reservations and never receiving a response on my earlier text I surmised that the host was not very engaged. If there were issues or things going on in their lives, a quick response would have been welcomed! We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs which the hosts were very conscientious to communicate very well and make sure we had everything.
