Comfy Cozy Cottage. Sleeps Up To 5, Free WiFi, Secluded This is comfy, clean housekeeping cottage set on a relaxing secluded getaway on waterfront property. Great place to create lifelong memories at a home base to explore Door County from or just hideaway and relax! A family-owned/managed property. We have generations of satisfied guests and know you'd love your stay at our cottage. Check-in time is 3:00pm or later and checkout time is 10am. This is a quiet community with residential / resort neighbors. This property is geared towards quiet family / guest vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we can't accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions and or rowdy gatherings. Quiet hours 10pm to 9am. Mellow, respectful celebrations are fine and we certainly want you to have an enjoyable stay. Features Inside: Kitchen, Electric range (combines stove and oven), Fridge, Microwave, Drip Coffee Maker, Toaster Electrical hot water heater Each cottage sleeps up to five people. The nightly rate is based on two-person occupancy. Children 9 years old and under stay free. Guests 10 years and older an extra $16.00 per night, per person plus tax. Two bedrooms (each bedroom has a nice newer Queen) This also cottage has a futon that opens into a bed in the living room. We provide linens for all rentals, which include sheets, pillows and blankets / quilts. Towels provided for stays of 6 days or less. Ben Franklin Propane fireplace in the living room & electric baseboard heaters in each room for chilly nights. Please note – No pets allowed in cottages, cars or anywhere on the property. Portable fans located in each cottage. Cottages don't have air conditioning. Portable air conditioner units not allowed in cottages or in windows. There isn't a washer and dryer available for the cottages. There is a laundry mat in Sturgeon Bay that our guests have been using for years during their vacations in Door County. It's called Ship Shape Laundry and is located about 3 miles from us at 828 Egg Harbor Rd #1228, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235. Free Wi-fi available in each cottage. Cottages are well maintained and clean. Features Outside: This Cottage is located on about 1-acre waterfront property. A picnic table and charcoal grill are available for use. We don't supply the charcoal or lighter fluid. Park-like yard.Park-like yard with swingset, small sandbox and badminton / volleyball net. Kid-friendly. Dock. One of the more incredible sunsets spots in the country! Bring your camera. Rowboats no longer available. No overnight boat docking: We live on an open waterway called the 'Bay of Sturgeon Bay' and boats can't be tied to the dock overnight due to storms and waves. In addition, the water levels by our dock are very low again this year. Swimming access, launching kayaks and stand up paddle boarding is available from our dock. We don't have kayaks, paddleboards or canoes but you're welcome to bring yours along or rent them from a local business in Sturgeon Bay called Bay Shore Outfitters. Please note – No pets allowed in cottages, cars or anywhere on the property. No smoking in cottages per Wisconsin State Statute. E-cigarettes (or vaping) isn’t allowed in the cottages. No fireworks on our property. Candles not allowed in cottages. We don’t allow tents on property. Shared fire pit. We provide firewood. Firewood cannot be brought in from outside the area. This is to prevent the spread of invasive pests and diseases like the emerald ash borer and spongy moth, which can be transported in firewood. Free Wi-Fi available. Owner/Manager/Hosts live on the property. For your safety our home office is nearby with landline reliable phone service and all safety numbers and directions handy should the need arise. Nothing like leaving the Arizona heat behind and discovering a heavenly cool spot on the shores of Door County, Wisconsin! These coastal cabins are exactly like the pictures on the VRBO website. Besides the beautiful water view, the host, Andre, made our 12 day visit even better. He lives on site so he makes sure that his guests have everything they need . He is a very friendly, polite and helpful gentleman. If you are looking for a " cabin in the woods" experience with a beautiful lake view, chairs on the shoreline, a fire pit for marshmallow roasting, the fun of being in Door County and lots of peace and quiet then I highly recommend this VRBO. This was our first stay of our trip. When we arrived the host was there to greet us and show us around. He then made sure we had everything we needed. There was a nice yard for my daughter to play. Waterfront property with comfortable seating and a neat dock to look out over the water. Great for sunsets. The cabin was well stocked and clean on a beautiful property with trees on both sides. Love the cabin uniqueness, layout and charm. The cabins are diligently maintained and the lawn area is a delight. Found this cottage after google search and could not be more impressed. The host (Andre') and the cottage made us feel home, away from home. I will definitely be going back soon. Located on the waterfront, it offers beautiful views of the Bay along with amazing sunsets. The cabins are clean and cozy. Andre is a great host, friendly and knowledgeable about local activities. The cabins are vintage WI and scenery is gorgeous. Easy access north to see rest of Peninsula. Given the small bedrooms would suggest best accommodates 2 adults.
