Waterfront Property, WiFi. This is comfy, clean, classic housekeeping cottage set on a relaxing secluded getaway on waterfront property. Great place to create lifelong memories at a home base to explore Door County from or just hideaway and relax! A family-owned/managed property. We have generations of satisfied guests and know you'd love your stay at our cottage. Check-in time is 3:00pm or later and checkout time is 10am. This is a quiet community with residential / resort neighbors. This property is geared towards quiet family / guest vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we can't accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions and or rowdy gatherings. Quiet hours 10pm to 9am. Mellow, respectful celebrations are fine and we certainly want you to have an enjoyable stay. Features Inside: Kitchen, Electric range (combines stove and oven), Fridge, Microwave, Drip Coffee Maker, Toaster Electrical hot water heater This cottage sleeps up to a maximum of five people. The nightly rate is based on two-person occupancy. Children 9 years old and under stay free. Guests 10 years and older an extra $16.00 per night, per person plus tax. Two bedrooms (each bedroom has a nice newer Queen bed) - This cottage has a couch that opens into a sofa bed in the living room. Ben Franklin Propane fireplace in the living room & electric baseboard heaters in each room for chilly nights. Linens provided for all rentals, which includes sheets, pillows and blankets / quilts. Towels provided for stays of 6 days or less. Please note – No pets allowed in cottages, cars or anywhere on the property. We have portable fans located in each cottage. Cottages don't have air conditioning. Portable air conditioner units not allowed in cottages or in windows. There isn't a washer and dryer available for the cottages. There is a laundry mat in Sturgeon Bay that our guests have been using for years during their vacations in Door County. It's called Ship Shape Laundry and is located about 3 miles from us at 828 Egg Harbor Rd #1228, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235. Free Wi-fi available on the property. Well maintained and clean. Features Outside. This Cottage is located on about 1-acre waterfront property. A picnic table and charcoal grill are available for use. We don't supply the charcoal or lighter fluid. Park-like yard with swingset, small sandbox and badminton / volleyball net. Kid-friendly. Dock available. One of the more incredible sunsets spots in the country! Bring your camera. No overnight boat docking: We live on an open waterway called the 'Bay of Sturgeon Bay' and boats can't be tied to the dock overnight due to storms and waves. In addition, the water levels by our dock are very low this year. Rowboats no longer available for use. Swimming access, launching kayaks and stand up paddle boarding is available from our dock. We don't have kayaks, paddleboards or canoes but you're welcome to bring yours along or rent them from a local business in Sturgeon Bay called Bay Shore Outfitters. Please note – no pets allowed in cottages, cars or anywhere on the property. No smoking in cottages per Wisconsin State Statute. E-cigarettes (or vaping) not allowed in the cottages. No fireworks on our property. Candles not allowed in cottages due to fire risk. We don’t allow tents or RVs on the property. Shared fire pit. We provide firewood. Firewood cannot be brought in from outside the area. This is to prevent the spread of invasive pests and diseases like the emerald ash borer and spongy moth, which can be transported in firewood. Free Wi-Fi available. Owner/Manager/Hosts live on the property. For your safety our home office is nearby with landline reliable phone service and all safety numbers and directions handy should the need arise. The cottages were very clean and comfortable. The small rock beach was enjoyable for my children to look for beach glass. While the location is a bit far if you're more used to the Fish Creek-Sister Bay scene, it was easy to hop up 42 and be there soon. Sunsets around the firepit were amazing! ##### Amanda S. Found a place downtown for pizza and beers, along with a brewery downtown. Was able to go up and down the coast of Door County, stop in each town, have lunch, take the ferry across to Washington Island, have lavender ice cream, visit a lighthouse, and winery all in one day. The location was great, right by the water with a backyard where you can sit and enjoy the quiet view of the bay. The cottage was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. Andre the manager is right on site and ready to help with anything (he even gave us a 4-pack of local root beer at check-in, which our son loved!). The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Nice kitchen/pans for making breakfast. Right on the water for beautiful sunsets. The host was very kind and helpful. The gift of fudge was really sweet! The location is so peaceful and quiet yet close to Sturgeon Bay and all the it offers. Great spot with great host!
