Our unique property sits on the very spot where the infamous Ashley Gang carried out their first daring bank heist in February 1915\. The gang made off with $4,300—a fortune at the time—marking the beginning of their legendary outlaw reputation. Today, this historic site offers modern comforts with an unbeatable location in the heart of Downtown Stuart. Explore unique boutique shops, stroll along the scenic riverfront boardwalks, and indulge in a variety of vibrant eateries—all set against the stunning backdrop of the breathtaking St. Lucie River. So pack your suitcase and leave the rest to us! This charming private 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment is located right above the lively Dirty South Bar, nestled in the heart of Downtown Stuart. As a special treat, stop by to enjoy a complimentary beer on tap! Everything you need is just a 5-minute walk away: restaurants, bars, boutique shops featuring local artwork, theaters, art galleries, markets and much more! We also have a full size sofa bed to sleep an additional 2 guests for a maximum of 6 guests within the unit. Whether you’re here to savor local cuisine or explore unique boutiques, Stuart has it all. Please be sure to read the house rules regarding outside noise levels. Thank you This apartment is uniquely situated above the Dirty South Bar. On Friday and Saturday nights the bar turns into a nightclub. If you are looking for a quiet nights sleep please do not book this property as it will be nosy from the bass in the bar and patrons along the streets outside. Due to its historic designation, the windows are not designed to open and should remain closed at all times. While this vibrant location means you’re steps away from the action, guests should note that some noise from the street and nearby businesses will be heard at times. There is one flight of stairs to get up to the apartment. The apartment is one story. Guests must be able to walk up and down stairs. At this time we do not have a dedicated parking spot for the apartment. Overnight parking can be found at the Stuart Town Hall which is right across the street. The parking lot is at the crossroads of St Lucie Ave and Dixie Highway. Quiet hours (no loud music) starts at 11 PM. A 2.9% cancellation fee is charged for all cancelled reservations for which Jupiter Vacation Rentals is merchant of record. Please note: A non-refundable pet fee applies to all reservations that include pets. If you are bringing two pets, the fee is doubled.
