We really enjoyed our time on the back porch and the fire pit on the cool evenings. It also has close access to wineries and neat towns like Floyd ... well worth a day trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. It also has a small grocery store which saved a lot of time -- the closest major store is a good half hour away, so stop beforehand if this is important to you. It was challenging to find the property, as the address wasn't properly listed. However, this was quickly corrected by the owner, Rick. He was very responsive and gave us some great tips on how to spend some of our time there. Would certainly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing break from busy life. ##### Jon P. It is cozy and has a nice porch to sit and enjoy the woodland scenery. Rick, our host is super. Great communication and very accommodating. . The extra amenities were a nice touch. The cabin is super clean with plenty of space to accommodate family. I especially like the loft. Beds are very comfortable. Easy check in/checkout. Can’t wait to return and hopefully stay longer than a few days. Also, several good home cooking restaurants nearby for breakfast and dinner. ##### Cyndee S. There is plenty of beds and seating. The master bed was super comfortable! One main issue was a fly problem. It was Thanksgiving weekend and we dealt with so many flies. We had to vacuum them up as soon as we got there and we noticed that they were coming in around the windows/ac unit in the loft. If it weren't for the flies i would give this cabin 5 stars.
