Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold village and the property is a few minutes walk from the centre, where you will find excellent pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Stroud where you will find all the major supermarkets and stores together with an impressive farmers market on a Saturday. The house is lovely and has all the amenities you need. Just a few minutes stroll into the picturesque town of Painswick with it's typical Cotswolds buildings (don't miss visiting St. Mary's Church and its 99 yew trees!). The house is also a very easy drive to other sights in the area, including the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral and the Roman museum in Cirencester. It’s walking distance to Painswick town centre and the Rococo Garden. Sean was there to welcome us and very helpful. They also provided breakfast for the stay, which was a bonus.
