"Das Doppelhaus ist etwas versteckt mit herrlichen Ausblick in den Wald. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und der Garten mit Terrassen sehr schön gestaltet. Es ist alles was man braucht vorhanden, von Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Geschirrtücher, sogar etwas Brennholz bis zu Gewürzen war alles da. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr angenehm. Wir haben das Häuschen gleich wieder gemietet und freuen uns auf einen weiteren Aufenthalt."

"This was our first time visiting Germany and the house was as pictured. Our family of 8 fit comfortably. We had to ask for a few appliances that were listed in description (toaster and microwave) and the host responded promptly and dropped off the requested items. We ate a the local pizza place and it was delicious. We were close enough to multiple bigger cities and enjoyed those as well (Frankfurt, Cologne, Ramstein, Bad Kreuznach, Kaiserslautern). "Das Wochenende in Mainz war sehr schön. Das Hofhaus war schön gemütlich, sauber und einladend. Im zugehörigen Innenhof konnte man sich gemütlich und in Ruhe aufhalten, was bei dem Wetter perfekt war! Der Vermieter, Ingo, war sehr zuvorkommend. "We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels.The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. "We stayed in the "Comfort Double Room" part of the hotel, and the place was far from 4-star superior quality. It felt like an unmaintained 1980s relic with unpleasant red shag carpet and almost zero soundproofing. The room was objectively dirty and hazardous: Hygiene: There was active mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the shower grout. The toilet had a visible brown biofilm build-up under the rim, and the water faucet was covered in heavy limescale. Expired Food: I found coffee creamers that had expired over 100 days ago (Dec 2025) and minibar chips expired by two months. Security: While we were out, housekeeping took an active key card from our room without explanation. We had to go back to the desk to reprogram everything because we didn't know who had it. Service: Breakfast service was incredibly slow; it took a very long time just to get a coffee. Management provided a partial discount after I showed them the photos, but a refund doesn't fix these health and safety issues. If you book here, be very careful which wing they put you in."
