« Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon. »

We stayed here just before closing on a new house in the area, and the convenience and layout was perfect. If we had been here on leisure, I can see how this cottage would also be perfect for exploring the nearby national park and wine country. Communication with the host was very prompt and helpful. They even went out their way to help me retrieve a small item I left behind. ...

« Very welcoming home. It was a great place to relax and enjoy time with our family. It served as a perfect “base camp” for hikes at Shenandoah National Park. The home owner has provided additional amenities (soap, shampoo, k-cups, games,…) which was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay. »

« The house is large with 4 good sized bedrooms. We were very comfortable there. The host was responsive in a timely manner when I contacted him/her during our stay. The location is a short drive to the historic downtown area of Woodstock and even closer to the grocery store.Our only issue was that we are older and not as stable on our feet as we would like. We discovered that there is no railing up the couple of steps to the front door. Thankfully one of us was able to help the others by lending...

« We loved our stay at this cabin. It has a great feeling of being out in nature as a cabin but with a feel of a newly renovated and quality interior. We took advantage of the screened in porch for morning coffee and evening relaxing with the family. It's a great feature of this house. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed during our stay. The grill I think may have been brand new and worked flawlessly. One reason we stayed here was the access to the river. It was a little further...
