You always know what to expect from IBIS. It’s a budget hotel but always clean and usually updated. I really miss a kettle or coffee maker. Good location. Not a water view!

Samuel at check in was amazing !! Kind friendly We hen we asked for a food recommendation he nailed it !! Tint pub Across the street ! Callled our cab to train station. Followed up with the company when just a couple of minutes late. Helped with luggage Top marks !!

This hotel is convenient to everything in the city- easily walkable to many areas of town. BUT- the parking situation is terrible. There is a nearby parking but it is poorly signed , locked on weekends and nor where the hotel recommends. But once you are in you cannot move until Monday.

Perfect location. This is one tram stop from the main train station. The same trams run to the city center five minutes away. Clean. Good breakfast if you want. Helpful staff. Walking distance to a laundromat. Right on the river. Decent local restaurants in safe neighborhood.

We liked this hotel very much however the entire lobby, lounge, restaurant and reception area all smell of vanilla scented candles and it's nauseating!!!! Other than that detail it was a wonderful stay.

The location is great for access to the train station and a short 10 minute walk to the center. I wasn't expecting much from this property and overall the room was fine. The issue was that the room had absolutely no air circulating! So my option, in the middle of winter, was to either open the window so there was air circulating OR sweating all night. Fun choice.

It is budget . However most hotels/motels have at least a kettle with tea & & long life milk & some cutlery. The bed was very basic, a foam mattress on a type of slatted futon style base & was not that comfortable. It is in a good location easy to walk to everything & in the same complex or adjacent the Le Halles shopping centre where you can get a great breakfast of pastries, sandwiches, coffee & more. There is a supermarket as well the usual suspects! It is linked to the Novetel & the lounge and bar area in the Novetel are very nice.

Check in was easy and fast. The staff were nice and pleasant. The hotel is located in neustadt, right by the river and near many restaurants and stores. Alstadt is an easy walk of about 10 minutes, with plenty to see and do along the way. The hotel itself is fine. The room is spacious and has a very nice tv, but the bed is not comfortable; certainly too hard for my liking. That is the only negative comment i have though.

Cozy and convenient.
Newly renovated and clean. Love the Scandinavian style renovation. Got a room facing the river and road, it can get noisy even with the window shut. Located above a shopping mall, many amenities nearby.

Hotels are for sleep. Arrived at 0200. No chance of sleeping all night due to elevator. 0700 finally sleep. 0900 housekeeper barged in room & woke up. Could hear her banging on doors down hall waking five more rooms up before finding a vacant room to service. 0915 next housepere bathers in room. T hi is hotel should be in the stay up no sleep business.

Location was good but the staff was very rude when I told her she over charged me. She continues to raise her voice and speaking about it is not her problem and denied what I had on my Expedia confirmation. It was a terrible experience.

Small room at a very good location
Very small room and bathroom, functional, very quiet and super convenient in downtown Strasbourg. Easy parking with a fee. Good wifi. No tea / coffee maker, no mugs. Toiletries.

Good option
Nice, large room. Comfortable for two. Big TV but no plug nearby so bring an extension cord if you're planning on plugging in a streaming stick. Easy access to the old town, just over the bridge. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is attached to a mall which I convenient if you need to do some quick shopping, but the mall does close on Sundays.

Comfortable beds! We got a room with an amazing view of the city and river. Room is small but clean and stylish. Staff was all very nice and check in/check out was a breeze. Very quick and easy walk to Petite France and Notre Dame.

Hotel is in very good condition, accommodations are basic but satisfactory but room was facing the street and very noisy a lot of people screaming on the street at 4:00 am in the morning

10 mins walk from Gare Strasbourg and is near the attraction in Strasbourg. Simple & clean room. Would be better if they can offer free mineral water in the room. Breakfast was OK.

The room was small and basic.but functionall. Breakfast is good.the service is exceptionall.the area- perfect no less. Minutes from every whwre . If not enogh - the hotell is situated in a great mall(seperate entrance) Very recomended.

Nice Hotel
We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. On arrival, we were able to check in early. The receptionists were friendly and answered all our questions about things to do in the area. On our last day, we climbed up the Notre Dame Church and they ensured our room would be last to be cleaned to give us time to come back and freshen up (really nice of them). The breakfast was nice with a few choices. The location is not right in the centre, but its very close to the centre...we found the distance to be fine. The beds were comfy and the pillows were plush. I would stay here again.

Great Location
Hotel was ideal, great location and friendly staff. The city centre is a short walk, as is the train station. The only problem was people shouting outside of the hotel in the early hours of the morning. We did stay on a Friday and Saturday night .. so could of just been drunk idiots. Apart from that, the hotel was good

For the second trip running in Strasbourg (previous hotel was different) i have been treated to a hotel advertising air conditioning only to find the hotel doesn't switch it on. I was advised that the ir-room unit offers heating at this time of year. I was on the foiurth floor and it was 20 degrees outside. The room was hot and resulted in a poor nights sleep. Hotels should not be allowed to advertise air conditioning if it isn't available. Otherwise, w decvent hotel for the price, in a great location but cannot offer good marks for offering facilities that patently do not exist.
