Please review the House Rules, Important Information, and About the Host sections prior to booking this home. A wonderful home for adventurous slope-seekers and relaxed vacationers alike. This beautiful property has been lovingly refurbished, and all furnishings and décor have been thoughtfully selected. The open floor plan allows for natural flow and vaulted ceilings with post and beam accents add space and airiness. The inviting living area is oh-so-comfy with a deep sectional, large TV, and massive windows with huge mountain views—a telescope has been perfectly placed to enjoy. A farmhouse dining table is ideal for gathering and the adjacent dry bar with beverage fridge is a great touch. The bright and functional kitchen is beautiful and features a great big island for cooking and conversation. All three bedrooms are located on one side of the home and are incredible respites at the end of a day of fun—each features layers of comfort with plush bedding and crisp linens. Two guest rooms—one with a queen bed and the second with two full beds—share a full bath and the spacious primary queen-bedded suite has a private bathroom. This property is equally impressive outside! A massive deck is designed for outdoor living and big mountain views and boasts outdoor dining, a hot tub, and a large yard for fun and games! Mansfield View is tucked off a backroad, centered between the towns of Stowe, Morrisville, and Elmore providing easy access to so much! Popular places to explore nearby include Moss Glen Falls, Lake Elmore, the Ryder Brook Golf Course, and the North Branch Cascade Trail. This location abutting the untouched CC Putnam State Forest is ideal for rest and relaxation and if you are lucky, wildlife spotting! Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. All pets must be pre-approved during the booking process. An additional pet fee and addendum is required. Winter in Vermont brings snow, icy roads, and occasional storms. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended to book this property. Great location, close to town but you still feel like you are tucked away. We had an issue with the hot tub and the management team fixed it on Thanksgiving morning. I was impressed with how responsive and helpful they were! Feedback that needs fixed: Two of the rooms didn't have window coverings and the water out of the faucets had a sewer smell. A truly beautiful home! Our family travels a lot & this was honestly one of the best stays we've had through VRBO. Communication was amazing, from the moment we booked. Well organized & smoothe. The house was very stylishly decorated, even nicer than reflected in the photos. The furnishings, linens, & blankets appeared to be new and high end, & the owner even left us a welcome tray with a scented candle and gourmet hot chocolate mix. Beds super comfortable. The hot tub was warmed up and the cover cleared of snow, ready to go! The kitchen was fully stocked with modern cooking appliances & no shortage of basic food supplies (coffee filters, paper towels, ziplocks, every spice imaginable, & more). Lots of new bath towels & towels for the hot tub (kind of hidden in the free standing mini bar). We're headed back to Stowe in a few weeks and bummed that it's not available.
