This village condo was just perfect for our family for a 4 day ski getaway. Location is amazing - we loved going to fondue just 3 doors down, Harrison’s and the Whip (1 block away) and all the adorable downtown Stowe shops (all within 3 blocks!). Was super convenient to be across from the Village market, we did breakfasts in the condo before skiing and if anyone wanted a snack, they could just walk across the parking lot. It's right in Stowe so really convenient for exploring and easy parking. Our issue was that the heat was not on when we entered the property and neither of the thermostats worked. There were no instructions on how to get it working and we were not helped by support until the next morning (it was 30 degrees over night). I recommend to the owners to turn the heat on before guests arrive during cold weather, and to leave clear instructions to ignore the broken thermostats and use the mini splits up on the walls. ##### Sarah G. It was VERY clean upon arrival and was mostly well appointed. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. The ONLY complaint I have is that the kitchen isn't very well stocked. There are some basics utensils and pans, but not much silverware or dishes. Also, there are NO spices. None of this would stop me from coming here again, in fact this was my second stay here and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Just note that if you plan on cooking or making coffee you will want to bring sugar, salt, pepper, plastic wrap, foil, etc as none of that is provided. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown like this one so we chose to just not shower for 3 days. You can guess the rest--the water heater didn't manage to get repaired and we had to take pans of boiled water with us when we showered. It was disappointing. Cleaning person just got there said no one was staying. Told us to come back in an hour. We did couldn’t use access code. On phone for two hours with relocation and two dogs in car. Found own hotel room. Very busy time in Stowe. Very disappointed in all aspects. I wouldn’t stay here as not sure you’ll ever get in. 12 hours of driving with our two pups and we get an apology. There is a problem with the door keypad which did not retract the deadbolt to unlock the unit. The agent was helpful, initially giving us another code (which didn't work), but she then guided us to get a key from the lockbox and gain entry. The manual key is also a bit tricky to use, especially to lock the unit when leaving. The keypad unit and locking system should be replaced or repaired. Other than that, it is an excellent place. It was very clean and comfortable with good lighting and nice matresses. There are window air conditioning units in the bedrooms. Appliances are nice as are the bathrooms. It is a very short walk to the center of town with several available restaurants and some neat shops. There is a market just steps away, which is very convenient. We did take a ride up to the ski area base and it took less than ten minutes. It was beautiful up there - skiing would be incredible. The interior is in rough shape, stained carpeting, mildew in shower, not even a fry pan in the kitchen. If you want a dump in a great location this is for you! I’d stay away. ##### Kevin C. Bath towels were a step up from sand paper.Extremely noisy due to street traffic and direct neighbors can be heard through walls.Shower curtain liner was moldy.Dead bugs on bathroom ceiling.Stained carpet.Baseboards could be cleaned, just a suggestion.Bathroom sink drain broken. Expected 2 bedrooms, but got a tiny office space with bunkbeds. Not great for over 60 women. Mattresses and pillows hard. Sink stoppers both baths not working. Carpet filthy. No lights in bedrooms. Lot’s of stairs that were not disclosed in ad. Requested 2 bath on VRBO, but this was 1 & 1/2\. Alternativly great location and excellent washer dryer.? Aug 29, 2025 Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy This is def a no-frills stay. The bed linens are not great and all of the towels are child size. The cooking utensils, specific pots and pans are horrible (I had to go buy a pan to cook in, and left it). The pillows on the couch are GROSS and so is the rug in the living room. Everything has a damp feel because the windows cannot be opened and they don't leave AC on for ventilation/dehumidifation. The location is great and is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The kitchen is a great size just poorly equipped. Having a laundry in the unit is a huge bonus. ##### Shawn F.
