The location is also great: central place to explore all the different things to see in Stowe and neighboring areas. Oct 23, 2024 #### October in Stowe We stayed here with two couples in October 2024\. The view is 5 star! The furniture is comfortable as well as the mattresses. The kitchen is well stocked (could use on more oven mitt) with plates, cookware, silverware and cooking utensils. There are no kitchen staples left from previous guests, salt, pepper, etc. The condo could use a bit of a facelift. A blind in the master bedroom can only be closed with a makeshift duct tape system, there is a broken kitchen drawer, master bathroom faucet needs to be replaced. MOST IMPORTANTLY - The water in the condo is non-potable! It cannot be used for anything. There is a high level of PFAS and the Department of Health Vermont has determined “the resort has failed to meet the updated standards set by the EPA rule. DO NOT DRINK WATER - Do not use water for drinking or cooking, brushing teeth, making ice cubes, making baby formula, washing fruits and vegetables or any other consumptive use.” I am quoting from an announcement placed on the dining room table. Any restaurant, coffee bar or other establishment that we visited in Stowe did not seem to have restrictions. Aug 18, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy #### Great location, average condo The condo's central location to everything in Stowe is a plus, but we ran into a lot of issues we've never experienced when renting previous VRBOs. We weren't informed there is a code to enter the pool area. Once we received it, the pool was "closed" unless we purchased an after hours pass from the office. After searching the property, we realized there is no office on site. The laundry does not take bills or cards. A sign says you can get coins from the nonexistent office. The shared bathroom's shower has little water pressure, which is good since the water runs dangerously hot. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, but there are no basics like salt, pepper, cooking oil, coffee filters, etc. Luckily, there are several markets nearby. The oven started to smoke when we preheated it, so we ended up not using it. The living room and bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. There is wifi, but it doesn't work in the bedrooms or on the porch. A few hours after getting home, my daughter realized she left her retainer on the dresser in her bedroom. I called the management company first thing the next day and was told it will cost me $25 to simply ASK housekeeping if they retrieved it when cleaning!?!? Location was good but the HUGE inconvenience was we arrived to a note (from 2024!) about no water usage for drinking, cooking, coffee, brushing teeth, etc. We were NOT warned of this, yet we were warned by email prior to arriving about construction. Everything was near by and things were as they are listed. We were happy. One thing to note is that it was very hard to get in touch with the host since it's not really a host it's another company like VRBO (Vacasa) and had to message them / go online chat etc and they messaged 24 hours later saying we were very busy. Jan 7, 2023 #### Convenient location Location was convenient. Heat and hot water were very good good. Bed in master was good but beds in second room are very hard. Kitchen faucet not working and WiFi barely working (not working at all in bedrooms). Some coat hooks in the unit would be helpful.
