When arrived, the room was totally unprepared and messy. There were no room service for this rental as they are separate from the hotel. Basically, the service in the hotel does not apply to this room and you can only call someone. After an hour, they forced me to go down and change the room key for another room which was smaller. Our spirit diminished and our night ruined with no sense of caring. Communication with the management company when needed was easy and efficient. This is our second time staying at the Spruce Peak Lodge and again it did not disappoint. The amenities and the convenience of the resort were great. We spent our days hiking, biking and enjoying the many delicious restaurants and breweries. We will be back! ##### Kelley P. Management did provide a selection of coffee but does not supply tea for tea drinkers, slightly disappointed. The view of the mountain was beautiful for peak fall foliage. Most stores and restaurants in the resort were closed which was disappointing. It’s usually quite pricy so we have only stayed there a few times. It was so great to find this listing at a fraction of the price of booking through the hotel. The experience was exactly the same (absolutely wonderful). The unit is beautiful and stocked with everything we could need. The kitchenette was perfect for making breakfast and reheating leftovers.
