"Lots of beds. Seemed like everyone was comfortable enough. We loved the firepit, the big porch, and the outdoor shower. Good communication with the host. Our only critiques: we wished the light over the dining table was brighter, and the furniture on the porch isn't the most comfy! But honestly, that's it. Extremely minor stuff. It was a great weekend and a very comfortable stay for our 8-person Girls Weekend."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Accommodations were modern and spacious. You will have to be able to walk stairs if you stay here. Lucky for us we see stairs as an opportunity. Everyone that stayed with us loved the place. The hike to the beach is easy if your in moderate shape. Seniors may see it as a task. Parking is at a premium only 3 spots. We had to have family park out on the street. Luckily the neighbors were nice. The grill is apartment sized and was difficult to cook for the family but we got it done. The house could use a once over... paint, cleaning etc. The average person will not notice but that is how I make a living. Water pressure in the showers is inadequate it simply does not give enough water or pressure. Over all the place was popular with everyone that stayed with us. The mini split air conditioners are ice cold. You will enjoy your stay if you pick this one."

"The condo itself was nice enough, and the balcony was a great. The beach and views were awesome. Host communication was very good. The only downside for us was that it wasn’t particularly dog-friendly, as there were no grassy areas nearby for dogs."

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We honestly had a wonderful time. The location was great and so close to the beach and the property was nice and clean. We had our 6 month old baby with us as well. We kept it organized the whole time which helped with the flow and being organized with our daughter. The couch was nice and comfy and the kitchen was nice too- however, the bed frame was broken on the right side, which made it so loud getting on and off the bed. Also- we were pretty hot- the AC was working but it’s a smaller unit, and we felt warmer most of the time. We had to turn it pretty low to get comfy. Overall, it was a nice stay. Those are the only 2 things I’d correct."

"Just got home from our 29th Wedding Anniversary stay at the Lake House . I would tell anyone who is planning a stay here to book an extra day or two. Sand gravity was real for us as the beach was so perfect during our Aug 7 & Aug 8 visit. There is so much to do and see not only in the town of Michigan City but on the property as well . I could not get enough of the massage chair . AMAZING !! I saw a mom & baby deer from the balcony . Seeing the deer made my whole night ! We made waffles and headed out to the beach to rock hunt , visited the lighthouse , had many great meals & cocktails . This was a 4. 1/2 hr drive from our home in Illinois . Very worth it . We hope to come back each year . Can’t think of any negatives other than it was a little tricky to get out of the parking spot but it seems like that’s the norm in the area . I’m not sure who I spoke to via email but the Manager onsite was very kind & respected our privacy . Next time we will book a longer stay . Thank you for sharing your home with us . The Mueller’s from Illinois ."
