Welcome to our cute cottage, just a 2 minute walk to a beautiful small community lakefront. The house is comfortable and rustic and the community is friendly and picturesque. There is a wood stove and an outdoor fire pit. This place feels like a summer camp, with amazing neighbors and an inn/tavern/restaurant just steps away. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was very close to the Lodge at Harrisburg Lake where our extended family had a reunion. The Cottage gave us a quiet space for our family to stay, while still being close to the action. The lake is quiet and lovely, and just a short walk down the road. The incline to the lake is steep, and too difficult for anyone with ambulatory issues. Not everyone at the reunion could enjoy the lake. That is just something to keep in mind here. The mini golf was lovely, and right out the front door of this cottage. We used it quite a bit. The course has seen better days, but we appreciated it none the less. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! ##### Elizabeth A.
