Homemade apple pie on the table, and soothing music playing in the background greeted us when we walked in.The beds were so comfortable and we both slept well and woke refreshed. We enjoyed easing into the day with groceries we purchased ahead of time. The Keurig, pods and cream gave us the boost we needed to be about our day.Everything was clean, comfortable and so well maintained. The weather wasn't cooperative so we didn't get to spend any time out doors. We did take a quick walk around the property and wished we could have enjoyed a fire at the fire pit.Debbie is an exceptional host. Honestly, it was hard to pack up and leave after three days. The decor is exquisite Americana, complete with giant blacksmith bellows and myriad nautical delights. A true slice of deliciously curated heaven. The kitchen was appointed with everything we could need, including plenty of coffee. The owner is attentive and thorough. We were able to easily access Mystic attractions and nearby hiking areas. The cottage was very clean and welcoming, with lights on and music when we arrived. Note that there are two sleeping areas, but they are not walled-in bedrooms, so light and sound travels between the sleeping areas. Our kids loved sharing the loft space and there were books and toys for them to use. We absolutely loved this cottage and our stay in Mystic, highly recommended. ##### Beth R.
