It was clean and comfortable. Back off the road and very private and quiet. Unfortunately, due to the burn ban, we couldn’t have a fire outside, but the fire pit area was a nice place to sit and talk. There’s so much to do in the area with just a short drive. It was like staying at my grandmothers house when I was a kid. I would definitely stay here again. However, there is no hot tub like advertised. There are also lots of nails around the house from the newly installed roof. A previous review stated the same issue with nails, and they have not been cleaned up. Big hole on one side made it impossible to rest well. Not enough towels for 5 people for 3-4 days. House was freezing when we got in Thanksgiving evening tried to light fireplace to help it warm up but it didn’t work. Definitely overpriced for what it provided. I loved the updated but tasteful decorating. I grew up going to a farm in Texas when I was younger and it maintained that character while still being very beautiful with all the amenities. The house was the perfect location. All the surrounding wineries was perfect. Had such a great time. The house (we ended up with two) were completely stocked and super cute. Like going back in time. Comfy mattresses but on the softer side. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Nice bath linens. Shower fixture needs some attention but mgt addressed issue during our stay (temp solution in my opinion).
