We had a wonderful stay at this spacious home! It was well-equipped with everything we needed. The property itself was peaceful and private, with a lovely backyard that backed up to the water. The location was also great, making it easy to get to all the local attractions and destinations in the area. Our host was very communicative.

Was supposed to be an Anniversary weekend celebration my family, but turned into a nightmare. I arrived at the house first, with my dog, my family was to meet later that evening. Reserved the house Thursday to Sunday. The exit is difficult to see, I missed it and had to do a Uturn. Its a relatively steep dirt/gravel road, quite narrow down to the house. Recommend 4wd if u choose this house. Parked in front of the garage, and as soon as I stepped out of my truck, I was swarmed by black flies. Unloaded my bags, cooler etc, and checked out the house. It was clean, albeit outdated, theres an AC in just one bedroom and the living room. House was certainly clean and neat. Decided to take my dog out back to play, and was swarmed by hornets or yellow jackets on the deck. I was stung multiple times on both my legs, grabbed my dog and retreated back into the house. I noticed both black flies and hornets inside the house. At this point I was unable to contact the property manager, so I found a number to VRBO and explained what was happening. My daughter has a severe allergy to hornet stings, so I called and told them not to come. VRBO asked for photos, which I submitted via email. I packed up and drove back to my home in NH and began treating the stings with Benadryl and cortisone cream. Ive asked for a refund from VRBO, but as of Monday, I have not heard from them. I experienced heavy pain and swelling through Sunday afternoon, spent a total of 3 hours at this house vs 3 night res.
