Pictures don’t do it justice. All of the amenities and then some were provided. Lindsey and Michael made sure we had complete details on how to reach the cottage and checked in regularly to be sure we had no questions or concerns. Then there were the amazing treats and special Maine treat they also left for us. If there was a 10 star rating we would have given that. Lindsey and Michael should be considered superhosts. It has details about shopping and dining for every little town around. It feels like the Carriage House is in a central location, an hour to Acadia and Bar Harbor, an hour to Camden and Wiscasset. Or, you can sit on an Adirondack chair and watch the tides come in and out. The Carriage House was very clean and well appointed, just enough decor to feel like home. The house is laid out so two couples could have easily stayed in the home. Everything we needed was in the home. It was my husband’s birthday and Lyndsey had cupcakes, napkins and plates set out along with a welcome note. There was a small issue with the internet which Lyndsey made us aware of. She came right over and fixed it. We also got to meet her beautiful Shepherd puppy! We missed our dogs and it was nice to get some puppy kisses! Lyndsey made sure to check that the internet was working while we were there but was not intrusive. Very responsive if you should need her. I feel like I made a friend in Maine.
