After a storm, the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen came out, and all of us drifted out from our separate rooms to stand on the balcony and enjoy it together. It was a lovely moment that I will treasure. And it only happened because the hotel is perfectly located. [Also, the staff found and shipped my toiletries to my home. Thank you!]"

"The Pilot House was awesome! The views from the Pilot House were spectacular and the location is very convenient and easily walkable to downtown, to the ferry terminal, and to the Apostle Island cruise location. Our host welcomed us upon arrival and joined us for chats and shared stories. Jack made sure we had everything we needed and was very personable. Our visit to Bayfield and our stay at the Pilot House could not have been better. We highly recommend this rental!! Five stars 👍"

"Close to Bayfield and has access to some the Port Superior Marina activities. The condo was clean and comfortable with all the necessary accoutrements. I talked and texted with Kym about a couple of questions before my wife and I arrived. She answered quickly and had the information I needed. Great weekend."

"Very nice lodge like property West facing on Madeline Island. Wife and I stayed for 10 days and it was enjoyable. Pros: -Great views (sunsets) and water access -Larger than the pics indicate, actually is 2 different buildings with 3 separate living areas, could easily accommodate multiple families -Very close to town -The owner was very responsive Cons: -Doesn’t have a washer or dryer -You have to be careful of ticks as they are definitely in the long grass on the property"
