Good base close to old town
Comfortable bedroom, kitchen and shower room in a period property. Great location, 5 minutes walk from Stockholm old town. Very quiet in the apartment - good heating and great shower. Kitchen cupboards a bit tired, but everything worked fine.

Great Business Hotel
A self service apartment hotel, so there is literally no service expectation. Have to clean up by throwing own rubbish after stay. Location wise is perfect as it is close to all amenities and transport. Big room and most important is the shower stays hot throughout bathe time. Not even some 5 star hotels can have this consistency.

Nice little spot
This is a nice little spot that's both in a good location but a little hidden and out-of-the-way. I could easily walk to many places. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It's very minimalist which I liked, but still a cute room. It's definitely not a hotel, it's basically a studio apartment. My only complaint is that getting into the building was an unpleasant hassle. I didn't realize until I got there that I needed a code to get in, so I stood outside while on hold, being very tired and cold and using 25 cents a minute on my cell phone. They came back and gave me a code, and I stupidly didn't try it while on the phone, but it didn't work. I called back, got a different person, and it turned out that the code I was given was just for my room, but not to actually get into the building. I spent more time on hold until I was given the code to the building, which I immediately tried and it didn't work. After several attempts I went on hold AGAIN and several minutes later they came back and laughingly said "oh they changed the code and didn't tell us!" I finally got the correct code and got into the building and my room before I hung up the phone. The person said also said that they didn't email me the codes because I booked through Hotels.com instead of directly through them, but it seems like they should have that issue worked out.

Great Stay
My stay in Second Home Apartments was great, my friend and I were both extremely happy with everything the room had to offer. The location was ideal for our stay with quick access to the subway and even a short walk to the Ferry in Gamla Stan. For eating and drinks the Sodermalm offered plenty of options, many within a 10-15 walk. The room itself was small as expected for a European room but never felt cramped. The bathroom and kitchenette were clean and modern and the beds were very comfortable. We both slept very well during our stay. Check in and check out were easy, I really enjoyed just receiving a code rather than waiting at a busy front desk.

Second home apartments were very close to Old Town (Gamla Stan) so the location was excellent! There was a laundry room and our room on the ground floor had a small kitchenette if you prefer to cook for yourself. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was tight for space but functional.

Excellent location, only minutes from Slussen metro station. Check-in instructions were clear and the process was straightforward. The studio apt. was clean and had pretty much everything we required. A few minor improvements would have made for a better experience: a couple of lights in the room didn't work (bulbs burnt out) and a coffee-maker would be a big convenience.

This was an amazing place to stay - although you don’t meet the reception team and bookings team they make life very easy for you! I stayed in room 45 which was more than I expected and was very pleasantly surprised. Will be booking again for Christmas!

We love the location of this property which is close to Gamla Stan (Old Town), metro stop Slussen and ferry stop Slussen. The room is spacious and cheerful. We wish Second Home could provide a dishwasher and more pots and pans. The ground floor suites facing the sidewalk could get noisy sometimes especially late night and early morning. We will definitely request suites facing the courtyard in our future stay.

Would defo recommend. Well furnished, beautiful little apartment laid out very nicely. Kitchenette had everything we needed. Nice living space. Great location, 5 minute walk to gamla stan. 20/25 minute walk to a nice small beach area south west. 45 minutes from Vasa etc. This is a self service hotel which I personally love. You get a text with the pass code. And then when you get there you just go to your room and enter. No need to speak to reception or wait in line. top notch! Only downside was 2x twins (still beside each other) instead of double. But we knew this when booking.

A good night’s sleep in the centre - it’s true!
Great find! Historic building modernised and fresh inside on Södermalm, a 5 min walk from Gamla Stan. Much quieter place to rest than Gamla Stan with kitchen, laundry, small courtyard.

Awesome, easy great price and Akkurat the bar around the corner was great for Svensk mat! Most of the hotels didn’t have windows and were half the size of this apartment also they were advertised at almost twice the price.

This apartment is in a terrific location - the historic Gamla Stan is right across the bridge, yet you're in a lovely local neighborhood. Lots of construction in the area made it a bit challenging to get around. Apartment was very clean and very spacious. I was disappointed there were almost no windows that opened, but the fans in each room kept the temperature cool. The sky lights were great, and the automatic blackout shades were very appreciated. Kitchen was very small; hard to control temperature on the refridgerator. Overall this was an excellent place to stay.

Very good location. Relatively clean but especially couch and curtains had strange stains. Apartment was a “triple” - slept three adults but lacked doors and therefore privacy. One bed was right next to bathroom. Very limited natural light due to only one room with a window which faced a wall. We referred to the apartment as “the cave”.

Lovely place
Amazing location, beautiful apt. Very comfortable beds. Shower head didn’t angle towards the body, only the wall. Amenities worked well. I thought it a little strange we were asked to wash the dishes before we left. Not that I minded doing it but thinking about someone washing the dishes before me made me wish someone was professionally set to the task, not just wishfully hoping the people before us were considerate enough to do a thorough job, as we did. Easy check in and entry/exit to the apt. Crib for baby was perfect. Prompt and professional customer service.

Very convenient, nice apartment
Super convenient - right near Slussen bus/train station. Quick walk across the bridge to Gamla Stan. Convenience store at the top entrance of the station. The laundry room is great, but there was no powder, despite signs about how much to use. We reported this to the contact address and bought some locally, but it appears not to have been replaced during our four days.

Great apartments in great location
Once I was moved from the ground floor tiny apartment that had windows opening to the common courtyard all was well. Lots of stairs (86) but a fantastic apartment. Light, clean, comfy. Such a good location. Bit of noise at night from the street and Hilton hotel buses and people. Otherwise excellent. Don’t accept annapartment on the ground floor unless you really can’t do any steps.

The place was nice and clean. When we had an issue with the shower not draining, they took care of it right away. The only negative, which wasnt that bad, was that the skylight didn't have a black out curtain. Other than that it was great, we would definitely stay there again.

Centrally located to restaurants and public transportation. Laundry on-site because there's no maid service. Apartment building is dingy, dirty and nestled down a flight of stairs that seemed oddly placed. Bed was not comfortable and only one small pillow was offered.

Well located near old town
Simple clean apartment in historic building. Only issue was that the apartment is on the fourth floor and theres no lift! Apart from that its nice and within walking distance of old town including Nobel museum, cand cafes, restuarants, a small supermarket and clothes shops.

I Recommand Second Home Apartments Guldgrand
This is a tottaly self service place, You don't meet anyone, but they reply quickly by mail and all our request were treated. Very good location. Great appartment. Well equipped. Good WiFi. Elevator for some of the apartments (We had one (-: ). Luggage storage room. For 3 persons it was much better and bigger then a hotel room, and we used the kitchen for some breakfasts. Suggestions to improve: 1.A small rack in the shower for soap and shampoo, so you don't have to put them on the floor. 2. self Control over heating: We were a little hot so we opened the window, because we didn't know if we can or how to turn off the heating. 3. A frying pan for eggs etc.

2nd Home Appartment
Business trip to Sweden and this was one of the few hotels available. Great location and ambiance. Only negative was the lack of Wi-fi.

Nice, really nice!
Nice little apartment. Fulfilled it’s purpose very well and it’s nice to have a small kitchen to fix your own food. Would have prefered a better bed thou.
