A very nice place with the best staff. Felt welcome and cared for, the location is great. The room was excellent and the breakfast nicely done. I would certainly recommend this place and will plan to use it my next time in the area.

Close to the beach and restaurants. Very Good breakfast, they made us omelettes every day. Hosts were very welcoming and ensured we had a good stay, they even helped us with our luggage without being ask.

This family run villa was exactly what we were looking for. We were welcomed warmly at the airport by the transfer driver and then by Ivan, at the villa, with a drink and a tour of the properties facilities. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot by beach to explore Split and coast
This is a little gem located just outside Split in beach town of Podstrana. Staff all very friendly especially Ivana who checked me in so quickly and had helpful advise. Had Room 4 on the 3rd floor which was basic double bed room with small balcony. It was spotless clean with white walls and ceiling making it very bright. Modern bathroom, mini refrigerator and kettle. The view was of the mountains and a little of the sea. Very quiet. Free beach towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Beach (small stones) is only 2 minute walk on pathway past other hotel. There are 2 restaurants and a beach bar right on either side. Facing west for sunset. Across the road is a bakery (great pizza slices) and a mini grocery. Local bus (13kn) to Split right by hotel (every 30 minutes). Used as a base to go on day trips to Islands, Krka National Park and Omis. So nice to come back and relax by beach. Well run property where you feel at home!

This property is absolutely beautiful, rooms are clean and you can’t beat the view. Beds are comfortable .I got sick while I was there and the property owners went above and beyond to help me with the dr and translating what was wrong.

Lovely bright, clean modern apartments 30 seconds from the beach, with free sun beds and beach towels for Villa Pinocchio guests which was a nice touch. Our room was very spacious with brand new bathroom and a bright airy bedroom, which was cleaned daily with fresh towels everyday. The apartments are ideally situated between Split town and Omis and a regular bus stops almost outside the apartments. There is a bakery and supermarket 1 minute walk away and several restaurants and bars also within a 1 - 2 minute walk. The apartment owner (Zlatko) was so welcoming and helpful and also organised our airport transfers. I would highly recommend Villa Pinocchio for your trip, Podstrana is a beautiful quiet resort within easy reach of livelier Split town and Omis, ideally suited for couples and families and we thought it was the ideal base for week's stay.

Podstrana - great base for first visit to Croatia
Good value for money. Comfortable bed and not noisey of a night made for good nights sleep. Good location for us with beach 30 seconds away and good inexpensive bus service every 30 mins to Split (20 mins) and Omis (25 mins). Really enjoyed our week, including rafting at Omis, ferry over to Brac/Bol and enjoyed all Split has to offer. Friendly service and would recommend.

We stayed in the studio apartment with a spacey balcony. Good distance from the beach front. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff but difficult to locate just at the end. I would definitely stay there again,

Great hotel, close to the beach and restaurants
Having left a cold and miserable UK behind and arrived in Croatia, the temperature difference was very noticible. What a blessing it was that Villa Pinocchio was naturally cool and very pleasant when relaxing. The staff speak good English, though rarely seen. To be honest I only saw the main staff once on the day we arrived... even over 4 days of staying there Lol. They were very helpful and the breakfast available is continental and satisfying. They even offer use of their coffee machine for free. The rooms are spacious and ensuite and have a balcony. We were lucky to get a sea view one. The bed was very comfy and the shower easy to operate. The beach is about a 45 second walk from the villa. It's a pebble/stone white beach with beautiful clear blue waters. Sun loungers with a blue dot are for complimentary use of villa residents. A 30 second walk to the right is an amazing restaurant and the harbour is about a 5 min walk away along that route. Villa Pinocchio is very well placed and doesn't disappoint. Very good value for money. I hope to stay again!

Splendid location for beach
Trip to beach only 60yards and sun beads and towels provided free. Supermarket close. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating (we were able to book in early and leave late). Breakfast was good and filling. Eating places close.

Only Spent One Night
I only spent one night here in between a ferry from Dubrovnik to a flight in Split, but what time I did spend there was great. There was three of us that were supposed to share a room. Because they had an extra room available, they gave us the second one for free.

Had a great time here
Just a few yards from the beach, where you can swim and walk to 3 good restaurants. Breakfast was great and free parking was a bonus. Lots to see in this area

Really lovely hotel. Helpful staff. A little bit noisy with traffic padding by. Close to the beach. Free sun loungers and umbrellas courtesy of the neighbouring hotel. Pebble beaches.

Hotel Pinocchio pedestrians.
Hotel Pinocchio was very good but had attic room and bumped head on tee fall several times and I am only 5ft 2ins. Room very clean and clean towels every day.

Small room for two weeks
Booked this double room over a year ago on recommendation of posts on trip advisor. When we arrived we're shown to our room unfortunately for us this was located in the roof space the room was extremely clean but with low sloping roof and virtually no storage space not really good enough for a fourteen night stay. We spoke to the owner at breakfast next day and although he was extremely nice man due to time others unable to offer us anything else. All other aspects of this lace were great but don't think this room should be let for more than couple of nights. The owner did deduct ten per cent from our bill but would have preferred a decent sized room.

To be totally honest, we did not spend much time at this hotel at all. We arrived late at night and left early morning. However, the room was really clean and spacious and the host was very kind. I know they have very easy access to the beach.

Great to be so close to the beach
Transfers both ways (arranged by the hotel) were really good even though the traffic is pretty bad. One row back from the beach but set back from the main road the location was great. Easy to pop back to room from the beach whenever you wanted to ... pick up a free coffee, use a lilo or mat (on the third floor landing). A bakery and a small supermarket are really close, as are the bus stops. We lazed on the beach more than we intended to but it's so easy - lots of loungers, nice and international, families and couples. Very close are a couple of bars and restaurants but you can walk in either direction to more. It is gravel so rock shoes are good for going in the sea and for strolling out at night you won't really appreciate heels. It is fab for watching the sunset all along the beach. The staff were so helpful and our room had everything we needed, including a hairdryer that wasn't listed. A trip into Split was easy but took a long time (that traffic!) - it was actually just nice to return to Podstrana though where it was quiet and relaxing. I keep using 'relaxing' - it really, really was.

We hired a car from split airport and to arrive at the villa it was one straight road for most of the journey. It took about 15 minutes from the airport if not less. It was a little hard to initially see the villa as the sign was not lit up but the directions and street number were useful. We paid a little extra for a kitchenette which was useful as we used the hob to cook on occasion. The room was smaller than expected but very clean and modern. We had a sea view and although view was mainly blocked by another hotel you could still see it. The location was great as the beach is really close and the villa has its own sun loungers. The staff are very helpful but sometimes hard to find (although we were out of season). The cleaner was lovely. She came in everyday and even washed up our dishes. I used google translate to write a note asking to borrow some washing up powder for some clothes I needed to hand wash. That evening we came back to lots of powder and conditioner. I would stay here again although in season (october half term lots of places were closed, though temperature 25C)

We had a lovely stay at the Villa Pinocchio. The room was clean and the view from the balcony of the mountains splendid. The weather was great, even this late in the season. Definite excursions should be the waterfalls, and the underwater caves - both were amazing experiences.

Right by the beach
Very close to the beach, Maybe a 2 minute walk. Great size room and balcony. beach is great with plenty of bars and restaurants on the sides. Fresh bread across the road and a short walk to the grocery store.

The Villa Pinocchio
The Villa Pinocchio, is a family run business to a high standard, very helpful, and it is no trouble to sort anything out, you can tell they love the work they do, and the quality of cleanliness is fantastic, sheets changed every 2 days, towels changed every day, and the staff are quick to have a chat, all in all, a very enjoyable stay, and will broadcast the fact to all my friends.

Nice hotel near the beach
From the first moment here everybody was treating us very nice... it was so comfortabe to talk with the owners ... so its recomended you will be so happy to stay here as long as you want because it has many facilities its near the beach and if course they offer you a fancy breakfast ... we enjoyed our stay here.

Villa Pinocchio is a family run hotel and was a great choice as first time visitors to Croatia. Based just outside Split, you are close enough for easy access, but far enough out for peace and quiet. The staff are very friendly, helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back for a visit in the near future.

Exceeded Expectations!
Our apartment was absolutely brilliant. We really were not expecting it to be as clean and modern as it was. It had a kitchen complete with cutlery and essentials for making sandwiches and eating meals - one night we even stayed in and cooked. The owners were very helpful and attentive throughout our entire stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower modern and clean. The room also had great air conditioning so we didn't have to risk mosquitos entering the room if we wanted to cool down! It was very close to the beach too- with free sun lounger hire to us as we were staying at Villa Pinnocho. We would often have beach days, and our apartment was convenient enough to pop home for lunch half way through! There were also some nice restaurants in the area a little local shop and a very friendly bakery. A bus stop was located at the end of the drive way with a bus that could take you directly into Split in 30mins (for only 12 Kuna!) I can't tell you how impressed we were. A wonderful holiday made this way by this Villa!

Beautiful and relaxing!
Very clean and very comfortable! The staff made us very welcome. The rooms were beautiful and had a beach feel. Restaurants and bars only meters away along the beach. Very own private beach with free banana lounges.

Comfort & Location
We only stayed here one night but it was the best night's sleep we've had so far on our 2 month europe trip! The place was clean, fresh bed sheets and comfy mattresses, great location away from other busy tourist areas. The staff were soooo lovely and obliging! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much!

Very close to the beach. Lots of space for two.
Really enjoyed our stay. So close to the beach and very good value for money. Room was cleaned each morning. Very modern rooms. Would recommend to anyone who needs a budget stay.

A well located appartment.
We stayed in a well furnished appartment including all utilities. The place was very clean, calm,very comfortable bed and pillows. Very welcoming hostesses..

Fabulous.
Could not speak highly enough of this place. Stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Room lovely and clean with everything you need. A 2 minute walk to the beach with specified area for each hotel and beds for hire for 10 kuna (£1) each day. Lovely restaurants on the beach front as well as some bars and shop and bakery 2 minute walk up the road. The owners were lovely- very laid back, friendly and helpful. They allowed us to use laundry facilities free of charge. Hotel is around 15 minutes south of Split, reachable by the number 60 bus. Taxi to the airport can be arranged by the owners for 30 euros. Had a really lovely and relaxing stay and it was such a reasonable price. I look forward to going back in future.
