With a sunny back yard, and a beautiful view of the ocean through a Eucalyptus grove, this simple property is fun and easy. The open floor plan for the living, dining and kitchen area gives a nice feeling of space, and the chic, modern furnishings are refreshing and comfortable. The deck facing the ocean is directly above a five-acre monarch butterfly forest preserve, and during certain times of the year you will have colorful visitors flying by. This bungalow is pristine. Note: There is a steep stairway from the road down to the house. NO TV. Wood stove, central heating, Charcoal BBQ. Small dogs (under 30 pounds) allowed. Renters bringing pets: Additional pet fee for each pet: $25/night capping out at $150 per week for longer stays, $50 extra cleaning fee. The check in was easy and we can't wait to return. The location was excellent--close enough to walk to the beach or restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of items to make the stay comfortable. You can hear the ocean from inside. There is a creek running on the side and you can hear that from the porch. We would definitely stay again although there are a few things that could be better. There are big windows in the bedrooms that allow too much light in, even at night. You have to bring a sleep mask. Bedrooms are for sleeping, they should be covered. There are only 4 towels and they are so old and thin, they need to be replaced. The tiny freezer was completely covered in frost, we had to defrost it to make ice. The furniture is actually patio furniture and not comfy. And the pin to the jack and Jill bathroom kept falling out so privacy was an issue with 2 couples. All easy fixes to make the house superb. We really did enjoy our stay though and wouldn’t hesitate to pick this one again. Just being honest about the little things. ##### Tami G. We enjoyed the lovely, modern furnishings, shady deck with beanbag chairs, well stocked kitchen and convenient location close to the beach and local market.
