As your host, it’s our goal to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be. Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home. For an optimal experience for us both, we’ve spelled out some house rules. Thank you in advance. We truly appreciate you staying with us.
• Your safety is our main concern and our insurance will only allow a MAXIMUM OF 10 GUESTS, including infants and toddlers.
• No pets allowed.
• Please do not wear shoes inside the home.
• Please turn down the AC/heat when you’re away.
• No parties or events, an extra $500 cleaning fee will be applied if a party is thrown.
• Check-in is at 4 PM or after by Smartlock and check-out is at 10AM. Guest agrees that failure to vacate the premises within the specified timeframe or at the end of the Guest’s scheduled stay shall be deemed trespassing, and Owner shall be afforded all protections, rights, and remedies available at law or in equity to any property owner against a trespasser. In addition, Guest shall incur a fee of $150 per hour for each hour Guest remains on the premises. The hourly fee shall accrue without limitation, be invoiced daily, and become immediately due and payable upon receipt of the invoice. • Please observe quiet hours from 9 pm-8 am out of respect for our neighbors.
• There is absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house or garage. If you smoke outside, please pick up the butts and dispose of them safely. • There are ring security cameras present on the exterior for security and guest safety. Do not move or tamper with them.
• The base cleaning fee covers basic cleaning. Additional fees may apply if anything is damaged by more than “normal wear and tear” by dirt, spills, bodily fluids, etc. for using extra cleaning methods.
• For your convenience, we have left detergent for both the dishwasher and washing machine. Please take all bags of trash out to the outside trash bin.
• If anything is broken or damaged or simply isn't working properly, please report it to us ASAP. It is always recommended that you get travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Hot tub Rules
-Please shower before and after using the hot tub to protect linens.
-Use at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. We are not responsible for accidents or injury.
-Local ordinances require the hot tub cover be replaced and securely strapped when not in use to prevent entry by young children and to keep it heated.
-Spa cover is not designed to support weight. Please do not stand or sit on hot tub cover.
-Do not enter if the temperature is above 104 F
-No glass in or near hot tub -No jumping, diving or pets
-Limit your hot tub time to 15 min and cool off before using again. Long exposure may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting.
-Warning: Please consult a physician before using if you are elderly, pregnant, have diabetes, heart disease, high or low blood pressure, any illness or if taking prescription medications.
-Please do not use hot tub if you have diarrhea or any disease transmittable by water.
-Do not use under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
-No children should use the hot tub, they are much more prone to overheating.

Please only flush toilet paper. Feminine Hygiene products, paper towels, q-tips, baby wipes, flushable wipes, cotton balls, etc. need to be disposed of in the wastebasket.

No video productions without written consent from the property owner.

The Guest and all persons listed under them on this Agreement understand that their rental of this property is at their sole risk and hereby agree to indemnify, completely and fully release and hold harmless the Owners, Property Management, their agents and employees, and the property, against any and all claims of personal injury, including death, or property damage, or loss, including but not limited to all attorney’s fees incurred, arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury, death or loss, regardless of what causes such injuries, or damage, including those of any third persons. In the event Owner files suit to enforce its rights under this Agreement, Guest will be responsible for paying any attorney fees incurred by Owners in connection therewith. Except as stated herein, the Guests are renting the premises in its As-Is condition upon check-in date and agrees to take good care of said premises. This care includes not making any alterations, additions, repairs or improvements and/or any removal of the Owner’s personal property from the premises without the approval of the Owner/Agent. While all electrical and mechanical equipment within the Property are in good working order, Owner cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of electrical service, stopped plumbing, water supply, heating, air conditioning, audio visual equipment, internet access, or appliances. Guest agrees to report any inoperative equipment or other maintenance problem to Owner immediately. Owner will make reasonable efforts to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. Guest will allow Owner or a person permitted by Owner access to the Property for purposes of repair, maintenance, and inspection. Owner is not responsible for any inconvenience that may occur and no refunds/rent reductions will be made due to failure of such items. By electronically agreeing to this lease, the Renter has read, fully understands, and agreed to all the terms and conditions included in this agreement. Renter is aware that this is a release of liability and a legal contract and signs it (or electronically agrees to) of Renter’s own free will.

Friends staycation

Super easy, comfortable stay with so much space to spread out and many amenities from the garage game room to the hot tub. The fire pit is great for cool nights and you can walk to town in 15 minutes to visit the brewery (also has fire pits)- how convenient?! The home was labeled throughly throughout making acclimation a breeze, in addition to the helpful guide binder. Although the house is in a neighborhood of homes ( as opposed to a more rural, spaced out setting), the fenced yard, large lot, and all homes being on first floor provides privacy. Quiet hours begin at 10pm, but we had to problem keeping quiet in the hot tub later and/or shifting the hangout to inside. Would recommend and rent again.

Weekend getaway - the perfect place

We absolutely loved staying in Stevensville, MI! The host, Tony went above and beyond to accommodate us while we were there! He was quick to respond and even communicate with us before the trip! At one point the coffee machine was malfunctioning and he sent us a new one within 2 hours of me reaching out; delivered right to the doorstep! Incredible! We were beyond pleased with not only his communication but even more so pleased with house! The property and home are stunning and the location is perfect! Close enough to hit St. Joseph, New Buffalo and the wine trails. There was not one thing the host did not think of! From a hot tub, to a fire pit and a full gaming room inside - this home truly had everything and more for our friends getaway weekend! We will for sure be back! Thank you!!

Two family Vacation

Our families really enjoyed this home! It was decorated so nicely & the location was ideal for many beaches and restaurants. Pros: Perfect for kids! They loved the games downstairs & the backyard/hot tub. The garage always a hit for us all! We loved all rhe seating and tv’s so everyone could watch something at night if they wanted. The fenced in back yard was great for the younger kids. Cons: WiFi initially didn’t work or was slow. We figured out the plug in wasn’t working so once we found that, it was fine. The dishwasher never worked so we just hand washed daily. They assured us they’d fix it for the next visitor. I would advise guests to bring more towels unless you plan to wash them frequently. Also bring toilet paper, & detergent for washing machine. None of the issues were a deal breaker for us! We were al pleased and enjoyed our stay! We were sad to leave! I’d recommend it to others!!
