The motel was clean with wooden floors that reminded me of my childhood cabin. The staff was very helpful. The property is well cared for, my room was impeccably clean, and the staff are attentive and very nice. My room was huge compared to most hotel rooms and the bed was comfortable. There is a coffee machine located near the front desk along with a small shelf stocked with toiletries and extra towels, if needed during your stay. I stayed for one week for work and slept well each night. The staff was very friendly and even gave us some garbage bags to cover a piece of luggage we had on top of a vehicle to protect it from the rain. They a nice refrigerator to put your fish in too. It's a good place to stay for fishermen. They have freezer space for rent for one's catch. The room was comfortable. The refrigerator had a shelf for a freezer, like many hotels, and it was able to freeze our blue ice. Staff is helpful. Rooms can be warm with direct sun, but with windows open it cooled off nicely. Property is tidy and the rear rooms are both cooler and quieter. There are fuel stations nearby with fuel, ice, and snacks. Soldotna is not to far away for more restaurant options.
